The smoke alarm went off in the whole motel at 0630am and then the water was shut off for an hour which meant we didn't get a shower before leaving. No communication from hotel staff.

Whilst the room was clean and presentable it was a little tired and getting to the point of needing a refresh. With this said the bed was very comfortable though I did wonder how much sleep I would get when I saw disposable ear plugs on the bed side cabinets. I did not try the pool and did not need to contact staff about anything. The motel operates a contactless check-in however there were contact details available if assistance was required.

Arrived at motel to find there was no room even though we had Hotels.com confirmation. Nothing else available for 200 plus km due to holiday weekend etc. Finally a room was found for us and the receptionist cleaned it while we left for an hour. While disappointed initially we could not fault this motel. It is older but room was impeccably clean and well kept. The staff were very accommodating and the small touches were appreciated. Complimentary bottled water in fridge, daily service etc.

The room was clean and welcoming. Easy access and instructions to obtain key outside of office hours. Only problem I had were the people smoking outside my window next to my bed. Solution....kept window closed until they had finished. Otherwise good price for overnight stay.
