Stockmans better than stock standard.

Room met requirements and quality for price was acceptable. My key issue was that the front door was a sliding glass door with verticals blinds that were not fully functional so I did not feel secure and on this occasion was travelling alone. If I stayed again and was on my own, I’d ask for a different room closer to main facilities.

Booked the family room 2 bedrooms for 5 people , but don’t expect to stay in the main motel as pictured with the wrap around balcony. No it’s in a small block of 4 units they have built out the back . Jammed 4 of these double room types it seems into a small block . Probably won the award for the smallest two bedroom apartment ever stayed in . No country ambiance or privacy . Walls are thin you can hear everybody else oh and the traffic from the highway , even though you are at the back of the property . Price included breakfast , but not in a quaint country dinning room no it’s a few packets of cereal left In your room with a few cartons of juice in the fridge but no milk . There is no where to eat this breakfast anyway as the only place to sit is a a tiny hall table with two chairs or on your bed , no lounge or living space . Family of 5 and 5 towels were provided but that’s it , no hand towels or bath matts for the bathroom . Picture of pool has been stretched in both length and width , don’t know why properties do that it’s just false advertising. Also don’t be fooled chose this property because it was out of town and looked to have a bit of country charm , but it’s just out of town ….the positives , large tvs in both bedrooms with access to Foxtel if you enter your account details and the a/c was cold

Very clean, comfy bed. Great location just out of Tamworth. Easy check in with the option of the keys being available out of hours. Papa Luigi restaurant is located on site and the food is amazing and very friendly service. Will definitely stay there again on our way through Tamworth.

Stockman's Motel is conveniently located just out of Tamworth so it has a beautiful rural outlook and is far enough from the highway to be peaceful and quiet. The management is very welcoming.

No one on desk had to ring up to get code to get into room. Room was very small not as per photo's on web. Ok for a night stay. Was booked into a house on site split into 4 units. Room and bathroom really too small.
