I had to change my birthday plans after Hurricanes Helene and Milton, so I opted for a staycation in Tampa. Luckily, we found this gem. It’s in a great location and both the interior and exterior are gorgeous. Communication with the host was smooth, they went above and beyond, and it offered all the essentials for a peaceful, quiet weekend after a chaotic few weeks of storms.
While we did enjoy moments of peace, the property is a large house with four units (two upstairs and two downstairs), and other guests were staying during our visit. Unfortunately, we struggled to sleep for two of our three nights.
On the first night, children were running around in the downstairs flat, which caused vibrations in our unit, and we could also hear late-night crying in the bedrooms. On the last night, a group of 2-3 women in the adjacent flat were talking and screaming loudly until around 3 AM, making it tough to rest. We found ourselves tiptoeing around, worried about the noise we might make since we could hear everything.
That said, the location is excellent, parking was convenient for our car, and overall, we enjoyed our time. Just keep in mind the thin walls—bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, and you should still have a great stay.
