Our stay was wonderful, The location is out of downtown but close enough to walk to restaurants. The property was quiet and beautiful and the managers were attentive and respectful of our privacy. Everything was clean, the beach was out the back door with a 150 yard walk to the waves!

The unit was extremely well taken care of and the location of this property is perfect. It is right around the corner from the main beach, so it’s a quick walk to get to everything Tamarindo has to offer, but also very private if that’s what you want. It was nice to have privacy when you wanted it. The manager was in contact with me within 10 minutes of finalizing our booking and was very helpful and timely answering questions and helping with travel and excursion recommendations for the duration of our stay. There are two houses on the property and only ours was booked during our stay, so the privacy would obviously go down a little if the other house was also booked. The pool was great! The hammocks were fantastic! The only thing that would be better would be if there were beach chairs or umbrellas that you could take to the main beach, but you can also just rent them so it wasn’t a big deal to not have them. Overall a 10 out of 10!

Amara was the most responsive, helpful host we have ever had - always so kind and responding within minutes no matter the time, helped us find the property as we arrived at night time, helped us navigate and coordinate literally everything we did during our stay, arranged transportation, arranged a sunset beach horseback ride, and arranged housekeeping (as we stayed for 7 days). The location is incredible. Right on the beach at the edge of town, in a quiet/private area but still very quick and easy walk right into town (can get anywhere by walking on the beach or the street path)! The property is also beautiful - all areas, including the shared pool/deck, are well maintained and very clean. We felt very safe here and knew that if we needed anything Amara was there to help! We were so sad to leave and would LOVE to come back some day! If you’re thinking about it, book it!!

What a perfect location! It is truly a nature meets sea experience. The apartment was beautiful and tastefully decorated and the property surrounding it was stunning. So much attention to detail made our stay wonderful. All communication from anyone from La Choza was easy and clear from start to end with quick response times. A very big thank you to Amara (& Toni) the property manager, Miguel who owns the property & Eduardo - our private driver to and from the airport. All lovely amazing people who truly cared about making our experience an amazing one. Can't imagine staying anywhere else when vacationing in Costa Rica! Highly recommend!
