In order to make the most of the atmosphere of this old house that is over 150 years old we have left the pillars and beams that still retain the original appearance and have placed comfortable antique furniture The bathtub is made of cypress In addition the Westernstyle rooms are equipped with Simmons semidouble beds Please spend your time relaxing in a space where you will not be disturbed by other guests
Nearby are the ruins of Takanabe Castle and a historical museum / The birthplace of Admiral Ozawa Jisaburo has been renovated into accommodation The earthen floor which gives a sense of the era has been preserved and antique furniture that matches the atmosphere of an oldfashioned house has been placed here
You can also enjoy a relaxing bath in the bathtub made entirely of cypress
There are one Westernstyle room and one Japanesestyle room on the second floor You can sleep in a semidouble bed or a futon Please enjoy a good nights sleep

Wonderful stay! Very well-preserved traditional house with two floors and a traditional-style super clean wooden bath/bathtub too. We enjoyed little walks on a nearby small path surrounded by trees, and also got the chance to venture a bit further onto the former castle site (now a park) to walk by the moat and visit the shrine. We have had a few hectic days before this visit, and this was the perfect place to unplug.
