(1) “Only one couple a day” can stay at this one-room rental inn. Please enjoy the “starry night sky” and warm “bamboo lanterns” in the pitch-dark night sky in a private space for your family and friends only.

(2) In the land of the gods called Takachiho, you can enjoy the “starry night sky” and the dim light of “bamboo lanterns” under the pitch-dark night sky!

(3) The interior of the house is a Showa-era retro building, with a collection of carefully selected antique furniture, and the walls of the changing rooms and toilets were plastered and finished by ourselves!

(4) The house is surrounded by beautiful rivers and mountains, so you will definitely be healed by the great nature!

(5) Please enjoy the space for family and friends as much as you like, such as “BBQ” outside in the summer or “Sukiyaki” in the winter!

⑥ Nearby is “Ueno Shrine,” famous for its ability to break off bad relationships, and “Ryusenji Temple,” famous for its fire-fighting Jizo, said to have escaped three fires, so don't forget to say hello!

Wonderful house

We had such a lovely stay at Oyado Takeakari. The house is very beautiful, cosy and comfortable and has lots of great details. The garden is very nice as well. In terms of amenities, everything you can think of is there. The host is very kind and helpful and very quick to respond to messages. All in all a fabulous and memorable stay in a beautiful house that we hope to be able to come back to one day.
