Pet friendly hotel that had big rooms. Breakfast was great. I stayed for 6 nights and felt it was a good place to stay until I interacted with their staff. They are not rude but use the excuse that they are ‘new’ so that their staff may make mistakes. After cleaning the room, I noticed the 2nd room key was missing. I had left it in the wall on purpose. When I asked them to bring it back, the employee used the key to open the door without knocking first! Not thinking twice if there were anyone inside the room!!! Even if there were not someone inside, they should still knock. As per the LAW, after check in, no one is allowed to enter without permission. I told this to the counter and they said their staff was ‘new’ and that they were sorry. That’s the same excuse they used when I asked about a previous issue, which I won’t bother to mention. At first I thought, I would love to stay here again. After that interaction, I wouldn’t feel safe to stay there again.

Convenient hotel with good buffet breakfast

I stay at this hotel quite often. It's conveniently located (15mn taxi ride from Taichung train station, 20mn from the interciy bus terminals at Chaoma. At the bus stop in front of the hotel there are also buses that go to many parts of Taichung including the train station, Yizhong shopping area and Fengjia night market. The hotel is aging a little bit but still nice and comfortable, with everything a traveller would need. The buffet breakfast is very good, mostly Taiwanese food but also toast. The hot dishes are different from day to day. There is also a self-service laundry that costs only TWD30 for washing and another TWD30 for drying, washing powder is graciously provided at the reception. There is a small outdoor parking behind the hotel, and when there's no space left, you have to drive to a nearby parking (the hotel refunds a max. of TWD150 per day for the parking fees).

Overall good but toilet not good

I stay near CMUH hospital. Very near. Near hotel has a domino pizza and Japanese lamien. Room is ok clean. Aircon is good but toilet is big but old. Look dirty. Wi-Fi is good. Breakfast free and good.

We booked the room after reading the reviews but after staying realised that it was not worth the price. We stayed at 2 other cheaper hotels around the vicinity and those 2 hotels gave us a better overall experience.

A nice hotel near big shopping mall and night mark

Good points are large bed and big bath tub, seldom found in economical hotels, and tasty breakfast. A small short point is that the aisle between end of bed and the wall with tv is very narrow. As the aisle is the only route to the bathroom, it is very inconvenient, need to bend every time otherwise bumping the tv.

The room is nice and spacious. If there can be an upgrade in the bathroom and provide a better and a little larger refrigerator, the total satisfaction will be even greater. The distilled water machine in the room is to our most convenient.
