As expected, but dirty
Overall I do not feel like it was worth the price. I knew it wouldn’t be anything too fancy, however upon arrival there was a mess of food left inside the shower. The property management company cleaned it promptly thankfully and did not charge a cleaning fee. I moved one piece of furniture to accommodate us, and I can tell it hadn’t been vacuumed in a while as there were crumbs and a piece of trash. There was some drink splatter on the wall in the kitchen. When my husband used the shower the next day, it wouldn’t drain properly and had inches of water, which explained the mess found upon arrival. Overall the plumbing in the bathroom needed some work (bathroom sink sprayed droplets as well). The kitchen accommodations were good.

weekend getaway
The unit is small but adequate. We like it because we could take our dog there and there was a dog friendly beach just a short walk down the road. We didn't realize at first that there are 3 locations right near each other. 2 next to the lake and one across the street.

Terribly disappointed
I went up with my adult son for a ski weekend.
When we got to the place, I realized I did not know how to get in because the host hadn't contacted me, so we waited outside until they got back to us with instructions.
Once in, I realized there was only one blanket. This was a ski weekend. It was freezing cold outside. I immediately contacted the management company. They were unable to procure another blanket for us, so I let my son have the blanket while I slept in my ski clothes. I didn't sleep that night.
Texting back and forth, the manager gave me a lot of lame excuses. I asked for a partial refund and now he's ghosted me.
I've been using VRBO for 20 years all over the world and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had.
To boot, the unit was a bit run down and not 100% clean. I found a used acne dot from a previous tenant stuck to my foot.
If you choose to use this unit despite my negative review make sure to bring your own coffee, coffee filters, dishwashing soap, toilet paper and blankets. This is a no-frills unit.
Great location, but I won't be returning.

Too Much Noise
This property was a converted motel, thought it was house or cabin. Right next to main highway. Extreme roadwork night of 10/10 and into early morning ,only a little sleep. On 10/12 tenant in Unit 7 left his TV on all night .
Checked out Friday morning of the 13th ,we both needed a good nights sleep so we drove home.
Would not book again.
