The house is a penthouse with sea view on the seventh floor with two bedrooms a large living room with possibly a sofa bed for two more people. The apartment is located in Corso Gelone area very close by foot to the Parco della Neapolis8 1 KM) where there is the Greek Theater the Roman amphitheater the ear of Dionysius, the museum Paolo Orsi the Catacombs of San Giovanni and many other sites of archaeological importance and is in a nerve center of the city. Very close to the island of Ortigia.
The bright apartment has just been renovated and has a 90 m² terrace with sea view perfect for moments of relaxation.

Great apartment in good location

We stayed here 2 nights and had a really great stay. The apartment was very beautiful and had an amazing terrace. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Both Ortygia and the Archeological Park are within close walking distance. There are also grocery stores and other services very close. The apartment is very tranquil and is very quiet at night. It is also very close to the train station if you were going to take a day trip out of the city.The family who owns the apartment was extremely nice and checked in a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again. We felt lucky to have found it!!

Proper penthouse overlooking Ortigia

This is a great flat. Two bedrooms, one very large, one small, 2 toilets, a modernised kitchen and bathroom and a massive patio overlooking Ortegia. The owners are lovely Syracusians, who run a local tennis club with an Olympic size swimming pool, so we swam every day. The nights in Ortegia for supper and culture were wonderful. 1.5 hours from Etna, so perfect for a day out. We loved this apartment.

We loved the terrace

We spent a happy month in Sabrina's apartment, with its great terrace - a much nicer and bigger terrace than in the photos on the website. The apartment is on the 7th floor and is remarkably quiet considering the noise and chaotic traffic in the streets. It is very spacious, with a large lounge and plenty of furniture - some modern glass tables but mainly old-fashioned ornate wooden furniture and large ornate mirrors.- the apartment was Sabrina's parents' home and has the feel of a Sicilian home rather than a functional holiday let. Sabrina was very helpful. She arranged for us to be met at Catania airport, told us about the area, the restaurants, the shops and responded immediately when we had problems. The area is convenient with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and Deco, a useful upmarket supermarket that does home deliveries is less than 5 minutes walk away. The gardens of the Forum are a 5 minute walk: the bridge to Ortegia, where you can take a boat tour around the harbour, is an easy 15 minute walk: the train and bus stations are within 10 minutes. There are buses to Noto and to the beach at Arenella. Our only criticism of the apartment was the lack of hot water in the kitchen and in one basin but if we returned to Syracuse we would certainly wish to stay in Sabrina's apartment again. After a hot, crowded day sightseeing we were thankful to return to our terrace, a glass of wine, and to watch the boats on the harbour.

Bien situé. On peut faire toutes les visites d 'Ortigia et Syracusa facilement à pied...l'appartement est situé à côté de la gare ferroviaire donc très pratique si on veut aller à Noto.....
