Staff were attentive and professional. Stuart went above and beyond to ensure our stay was delightful and memorable along with the friendly bar staff and reception. Room was well furnished, airy and comfortable, however the bathroom was in need of attention in certain aspects.

The bar offers a good selection and the meals are delicious and are a good size. The room was big and had a fridge of a good size included and also packs of tea and coffee, biscuits and milk. The staff were very helpful. Air conditioning kept the temperature of the room comfortable.

I stayed at this hotel back in the summer and had a wonderful stay, the room was fantastic, modern and a lovely big comfortable bed. But this stay was a bit different. The room we were placed in was quite dated, appeared that we were placed in an area of the hotel which was not as modern as the other parts of the hotel/ rooms which are advertised online. Bedroom/bathroom itself was quite basic, appeared to have wear and tear and could do with some TLC! I did find the bed quite uncomfortable and hard and didn’t have that great of a sleep. I found the bedroom absolutely boiling during the middle of the night, turned the thermo on the radiator all the way down and opened the window which helped quite minimally. But having to open the window meant we could hear people walking/shouting/singing past our bedroom window all hours of the morning. I think this may have been just a fluke and just an unfortunate case of being unlucky. The staff were amazing, polite and really friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful and the restaurant is great. I wouldn’t let this put people off staying at this wonderful hotel, I would just recommend that if you want the luxurious element of the stay, IE the room then make sure you book what you want exactly!

Rooms were spotless and well kept, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Of particular note was the lovely Wendy, the housekeeper who helped us with a room discrepancy. I regret that i didn't catch the name of the lovely blonde staff member at the front desk who also helped us with our room without delay or stress. Everyone was exceptionally kind and warm and the local area was beautiful even in the rain!
