Was very very disappointed in this hotel for such a large chain and known brand. First off the towels were old and smelled absolutely terrible. Truly awful. So they had definitely not been washed. The replacement towels smelled ok, but were probably as old as I am. Not sure the room had been properly cleaned, as the kettle and fridge were also dirty. The location was good, but we also had an issue not getting a refund when a family member accidentally booked the wrong night.

The hotel is good to just have a sleep at night while exploring the city in the day time as it’s quite reachable to the main attractions area. Breakfast wasn’t even tasty.. but it’s affordable. Easy to find transportation from hotel. Bathroom was not that clean, can see fungus on the wall tiles like never been scrubbed. Floor tiles have stained

This hotel is not good for business travellers. The ethernet cable did not work, the power outlets are all old and plugs fall out of them, and one outlet did not work. So I think if you come to this hotel for business purposes it would be a mistake. I also had a too slow wifi speed on one of my laptops... did not work well at all... compared with other hotels in Solo where I had no problem with this same laptop. A newer laptop I own did work well, however. The wifi sign in process is inconvenient because it does not automatically log you in when you come back to the room. You have to forget the network and then sign in again. Overall it seems this hotel does not think much about business travelers and their needs for working outlets, ethernet cables, wifi systems, and wifi login convenience.

I have been staying in Ibis Styles Solo for 5 times and I love it! The price is affordable and the hotel is good. Love the room, the bed but the TV channel quality is not that good (the picture not too clear). The breakfast is standart for 3 stars hotel so no complaint about that. Recommended hotel for traveller that like a clean and good room with affordable price

Great Hotel and staff

Our stay at the hotel was very nice. The price was good and so was the food in the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful (especially Septhie) and the hotel facilities were well kept and clean. If we needed anything at all it was immediately taken care of. Check in and check out was fast and no problems. There were only two issues that we had. The first was that the hotel did not have washclothes in the rooms. We had to ask and they had to get them from the Novotel. The second was the padded bench attached to the desk in the room broke when I sat on it (injuring the back of my leg). It seemed like it was only attached using screws (or in this case 1 screw). Perhaps the hotel may want to consider adding legs to these benches in the future to avoid possible injury to future guests. My leg is better after a week but I still have a huge bruise. Again the hotel and staff were great, we would definitely stay here again and recommend this to others.

Not top modern, but clean and comfy.

The beds are comfy and the rooms clean. You can see clear signs of age on the furniture though. Staff at Ibis were great - unfortunately that's not true for the staff at neighbouring Novotel (they share pool and spa facilities). Massages are great though.

Definitely Need a Refurbishment

Not all Ibis hotels are at Ibis's standard. Some of those, including Ibis Solo, need to be thoroughly refurbished. Wash basin was clogged, shower hose was torn, water was not smoothly flown from shower looks like blocked on its pore, water stagnant on bathroom floor. And most of all, the room was stink although we asked for non-smoking room.

Comfortable hotel but may be far away from stuff

Hotel was really clean and comfortable! Really enjoyed my night there. However, the location was not really near anything special and the wifi in my 11th floor room was non-existent. But there was a internet cable which salvaged my situation. Overall it was good and nice and I will recommend people to stay at Ibis Solo if its just for having a good sleep and rest.
