Home away from Home at Dicky Beach

Step into this sun-soaked beachside home based in the backstreets of Dicky Beach. Complete with four bedrooms, this pet-friendly home can comfortably accommodate up to nine guests. The blissful backyard makes the perfect place to challenge family or friends to a game of bocce or battle blocks while others enjoy swimming in the sparkling pool. Characterised by coastal accents and a beachy flair, this home sets the scene for a beautiful beachside break.



The Space:

Upon entry, you will first be greeted by the light and bright open-plan kitchen and dining area. The well-equipped kitchen caters to your every culinary need with quality appliances and lots of utensils. Seating up to ten people, the interior and exterior dining tables provide the perfect setting to sit down and share a meal with family and friends. Extending from the dining room is the living room. Complete with a smart TV and a comfortable couch, this room serves as a great space to unwind, relax and watch a movie. The outdoors of the home is great for kids and adults alike with its sparkling pool, lush grass and alfresco entertaining area. Make use of any of the many provided games such as backyard cricket, bocce and battle blocks. Sit back and watch the entertainment unfold from the comfort of the alfresco seating or cook up a storm using the Weber barbecue.



BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS CONFIGURATION:

Bedroom 1 (master bedroom): Complete with a plush, king-sized bed, the master suite is air-conditioned and features a smart TV, a walk-in closet and a modern ensuite.



Bathroom 1 (ensuite):

Modern shower, toilet and double vanity.



Bedroom 2: Furnished with a beachy theme, this room features a comfortable queen bed and a built-in wardrobe.



Bedroom 3: Perfect for families travelling with children, this room is complete with two bunk beds (four single beds in total) and features even more toys and games.



Bedroom 4: Doubling as a study, this bedroom features a fold out couch that converts into a single bed. The room is also complete with a desk, perfect for anyone needing to work or study while on holiday.



Bathroom 2 (main bathroom): Large bath, toilet, shower and vanity



Bathroom 2.5: Separate toilet and sink.



There is a washing machine and dryer located in the laundry.

There is also an abundance of beach essentials available for guest use including a surfboard, two body boards, a beach trolley along with some sand play items.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire home and parking for two cars in the secure, double carport. There is also space to park one car on the driveway and any additional cars on the street. Please note the shed in the backyard is not for guest use.



The Neighborhood:

This family-friendly beach house is perfectly centred between the trendy Moffat Beach, and local family hangout, Dicky Beach, so you have your pick of Caloundra's best during your stay. All throughout the area you will find upbeat shops and cafes, plenty within walking distance of the house.



Getting Around:

Bring your bikes and take advantage of the cycling paths at your doorstep. Within walking distance is a Food Works, plenty of cafes, restaurants and a couple of local boutiques. Walking distance is Dicky Beach, Moffat Beach, Currimundi Beach and Shelly Beach. Kings Beach is approximately 1km away. You can cycle to any of the above easily. A car is needed to access the Caloundra town centre or Mooloolaba, Maroochydore or the Hinterlands.

*We DO NOT take schoolies bookings*



*Pet-friendly for dogs, upon application - 2 maximum, a $50 per pet fee applies. Please reach out to us for pre-approval before booking. Please note we do not accept cats.



*No guests under the age of 20 travelling independently, fine if accompanied by family (ie. young adults apart from a family booking is ok.)



*This home is in a residential community with neighbours in close proximity. We have quiet hours on the Sunshine Coast after 9pm. We ask that you also generally respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum generally.



*Please note to stay with us you will be required to fill out a check-in form for your stay. This is a requirement of all our guests that stay with us, access to our home will only be provided after the completion of our form.



*We professionally & hygienically clean using medical grade disinfectant and strict cleaning protocols including all surfaces, light switches, handles & remotes etc. We use hotel quality linen via a professional linen service that adheres to the highest levels of Australian chemical & heat sanitisation standards.
