An amazing property in Sulzano
Our family of 6 adults stayed at Villa Mari Aurelia Dec 4-7 on our way from Florence to Milan. Christina and her son, Elia, were fantastic hosts. Communication before and during our visit was prompt and very helpful. We took advantage of their recommendation to visit Monte Isola, a 5 min walk and ferry ride from the house. This was a highlight of our short stay. This was a lovely home and would be an amazing place to stay in the summer months with the pool and summer activities. Everything was brand new and just as described in the pictures. Special thanks to Elia, who was a fantastic interpreter with Christina and her husband. They were so helpful when we had an unexpected flat tire just as we were leaving the villa. Their quick assistance helping to replace with the spare tire allowed us to get on the road quickly so we did not miss our train in Milan. They went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable with dinner and shopping recommendations in Iseo. A day trip to Verona was also special with the Christmas markets. We look forward to returning so we can experience summer in the area, and will definitely stay longer next time! Thank you Christina and family!!

The perfect get away
This summer we were lucky to be the first renters of this beautiful villa with an amazing view of Lake Iseo. The villa is located in Sulzano a cute little town with a view restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. It is helpful to have a car if you want to shop at the larger supermarkets, which are about a ten minute drive away. The lake is just a view steps away and you can easily go for a swim or take the ferry. We stayed with a large family of 5 adults and 6 kids. Everyday we enjoyed the pool (which was being cleaned regularly by the owner, too). All of the rooms are climatized, which was a big plus during our summer holiday. One of the biggest highlights for us was the fully equipped outdoor kitchen, where we had the best time cooking and having big family dinners. We didn't even use the regular kitchen in the villa, as we enjoyed the outdoor kitchen so much. The owners were super nice and even made a reservation for us in a nearby restaurant. Whenever we needed something they were easily approachable via WhatsApp and helped us out quickly. For instance, one of the dishwashers broke down and within two hours we had a new one up and running! That was amazing! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful house, we wish to be back soon. (Also, we will try and bake the crostata della nonna at home. It was very thoughtful of you to welcome us with this delicious cake, thank you!) Take care!
