Chalet 2 at Griffin Country Lodge is conveniently located on Mountain Rd, about a mile from the Toll House lift at Stowe Resort! The Chalet has a full kitchen, amenity-filled living space, and plush king beds. There is a swimming hole out back in the river. The Stowe Rec Path, Matterhorn Bar/Grill, Topnotch Resort/Spa, Stowe Farmers Market, and all the breweries Stowe has to offer are nearby. Hike out the door to the summit of Mt Mansfield is an option or ski back on the Bruce Trail!

Overall a great stay. Prefect location for the week long trip. Very polite when dealing with the host and staff. Beautiful views from the bedroom balcony’s. The property was clean, well stocked with all necessary needs. Great stay. Highly recommend.

I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews but my experience was terrible. I arrived late and was the only car in the lot other than their cleaner who was sitting in his pickup truck on his phone the entire time I was there, which automatically was unsettling. At the time I had no clue who he was. I Walked into my unit, the smell of stinky old chalet hit me in the face and I walked through it, closed the curtains that run the entire length of one side (windows and slider), and then walked right out. I’ve never had a creepier experience. The decor and updates are fine and the layout is great. I left and checked into another hotel down the street.

Great location
Interior is great & very clean/neat. But a few things need attention: interior-guest bathroom needs updating equal to rest of property. No A/C for summer visitors. Outside-entrance & parking which is in back of property is pretty ugly & unwelcoming. Looks rundown. We first thought we were at wrong location. Needs upgrading & improving.
