We loved our stay in Staunton! The home was adorable, super clean and comfortable. The hosts were so easy to communicate with along the way. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect and we plan to stay here again soon!

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and thoughtfully furnished. The beds were very comfortable and it was the perfect size for the 6 of us. The park is practically across the street and there is little to no road noise. There are enough pots, pans, and flatware to be able to eat in. If eating out, there are tons of restaurants within 5-10 minutes driving. Definitely hope to be back!

Perfect Spot!

We loved our stay in this adorable cottage. It was very clean, comfortably furnished, had everything we needed and was in a great location. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch each morning looking towards to park. We would definitely stay there again!

Quiet and relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable cottage. Pros are: proximity to the park, the porch, windows that open and have screens, the host’s responsiveness and cleanliness of house. It was also relatively quiet even though it is so close to park entrance. Cons: it would be even better with a dishwasher and a trundle bed instead of the bunk beds. Overall, we felt really comfortable here and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect placement

This little home is next to the nicest park. Plenty of parking at the house that is close to the house. Plenty of plates and dishes for 4-5 people, small bedrooms as older homes have (good sized kitchen and dining room though) for us it worked perfectly. BBQ out back easy to access and use, large grass yard to play in. 2 bikes out back for guest use. Washer and dryer worked good.

Little city and mountain living

We had a wonderful time in Staunton with thanks to our stay at the All American cottage. The proximity to the park was perfect for our two little ones and very relaxing to stroll over there after our morning coffee on the porch. We also could walk downtown to shops and restaurants. We tried almost all the recommended restaurants and shops and enjoyed them all. We also checked out the Wilson Museum, Frontier Museum and Brewing Tree as well as Blue Mountain Brewery up in Afton. Gorgeous scenery. Great getaway for hiking in the area (Bells Lane was a good nature walk with no elevation but also up in the Shenandoah National Park).

Wonderful Stay at a Cozy Cottage!

My mother and I had a delightful weekend stay at this charming cottage while attending my daughter's baby shower. The cottage was everything we needed-clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It was a one-level home with a front entrance ramp which made it especially convenient for my elderly mother to navigate. We felt right at home in the peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy place to stay in the area!

Lovely home!

Christmas Getaway in Staunton

We really enjoyed our trip to Staunton Virginia. The house was conveniently located near the attractions we wanted to see and we really enjoyed being so close to Gypsy Hill Park with their Christmas decorations. The house gave us plenty of room for our family and the owners allowed our dog to come with us. We highly recommend Staunton which had the Woodrow Wilson Home and Museum, the Frontier Museum, and the Shakespeare Theater. The town is also very close to Shenandoah National Park.

Perfect place while visiting

We 3 sisters had a wonderful time visiting Staunton. Downtown was a short drive away, with lots of shops & restaurants, & a Mexican restaurant is right around the corner. The park & town are lovely. The house is homey, comfortable & clean with everything we needed! Samantha & Jonathan were extremely hospitable and welcoming.i would recommend this “home away from home”!

Great little house

House was clean and stocked with many conveniences such as coffee and tea, laundry items, clothes iron, etc. Kitchen and dining room were both larger than I was expecting cleaner than many other places we’ve stayed. Was easily able to walk to the nearby park playground with a small child. The porch was nice and the house was bright. Convenient location for getting around. Very “homey” and quaint!
