Sparkling New Gem in Midland

"I’ve not ever stayed at Avid Hotels before but was enticed by the newness of it and its very economical price. I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the hotel. It is so cute and modern with its colorful decor, the lobby is a great space for relaxing or working remotely. Check in was quick and although the front desk staff let us know the tv was broken, the live tv channels were working yay! The room was spacious and had lots of hooks to hang things and two areas to sit and put your shoes as well as hang things up which I liked. Love the Dove brand toiletries too! They also had a black makeup rag which I’ve not seen in a while and makeup wipes AND shoe shine wipes. Breakfast was awesome. I was nervous it’d be basic continental but there were bags of oatmeal with toppings and toppings for yogurt too, lots of different juices and some hot wrapped breakfast sandwiches as well. Coffee is ground fresh each serving at the little coffee bar which also has a still and sparkling water dispenser. Best of all as an IHG rewards member late checkout was at 2. It was a great experience and all the little details went a long way. I will DEFINITELY be staying at Avid Hotels again! "
