Beach Front Disappointment!

There is too much to detail. Begin with this condo was a wooden building with THIN WALLS AND FLOORS and it goes down hill from there. Too many things to detail. Sufice it to say I WOULD NEVER STAT IN THE OCEAN WAY AGAIN AND I WOULD AVOID RECOMMENDING THIS OLD OUT OF DATE CONDO!!

Much better

I stayed at this condo three years ago and it was bad. One of the bathrooms was not functioning. It had been closed and they had not communicated it to me. The condo was dirty. I had to clean it myself at the time. This stay was so much better. Obviously the bathroom is working. The communication between the rental company was so much better which made a big difference. The condo needs a little freshening up. The couches are worn and could use new couches. The cleanliness was good but it just needs a deep clean as the areas by the baseboard and behind tv showed dirt and debris left from previous tenants. All in all a good stay and a good time was had by all.

Great get away

This condo is a great condo in this facility. I've stayed here twice now and loved it even more this time. It can comfortably sleep 8. The couch pulls out into a bed, but is comfortable as a couch, there is a trundle with the twin bed and a full in the guest room. It was clean. The porch is moy favorite with a great couch and table to relax on and eat dinner. I highly recommend this condo!

Excellent getaway location

My family had a great time at our Indian Rocks condo. Everything was clean, the view was amazing and the condo was prepared with everything we needed to enjoy our beach getaway. Our management person Carmen was courteous and kept in touch before, during and after our stay. I will definitely return and recommend it.

Indian Rocks Beach at Oceanway

We loved staying at Oceanway. The walk to the beach was very short. Very tasty food places close by too. Our only complaint was parking, we drive a full size truck so parking was a little tight, other than that we would for sure be back!!!

Spring Break

Enjoyed the pool and hot tub - Beach just steps away. Great view of water and sunsets. Kitchen well stocked as well as plenty of towels. Nice deck set up with L shaped couch and table/chairs. Good accommodations.

Great condo - good location

Great location. Condo was nice but could use some improvements and updgrades Better mattresses for all beds Additional supplies needed i.e. paper products, tp, pt, trash bags, dish soap, etc. Closets need more hangers and less junk stored in them. Watch out for additional high fees for rental.

Great family time

Check in was effortless. Location is great, unit was very clean. Kids loved it and swam every day. Not to crowded which made it very nice. Loved having direct access to the beach.

Was not told until day to pick up key that one bathroom was out of service. They said “didn’t you get the email“. No I did not get the email because there never was one. I requested three times to forward the email and never received one. The unit was dirty -there was sand on the floor ; there were dishes that we washed ; even though they were on the cupboards ; the one bathroom is moldy ; sofa mattress had dirt and crumbs . The sofa is weathered. You can feel every spring on the sofa mattress . Besides that realty company was prompt with communications and did arrange for cleaning service but we declined as it was inconvenient and we had vacuumed already.

Great building but this unit needs some love

We stay in this building often. Great property and great location. We would happily stay in this building again but will avoid this unit until it is cleaned up and repaired. The guest shower had a huge crack next to it and the owner after we alerted them to it asked us not to use it. We booked a two bathroom unit for a reason. The floors were terrible dirty and nothing was cleaned properly. My wife spent several hours of our vacation cleaning so we could enjoy. I don’t fault the owners. The management company is responsible for alerting the owners of needed maintenance and cleaning. In fact we saw reviews from months prior mentioning the conditions of the property and nothing was done to remedy them including the shower crack. Wish we would have read them prior to checking in. Hopefully the management company will read this and do something about the condition of the unit. If cleaned up and fixed up we would be happy to stay in this unit again. Great building and great location.

IRB is great!

Disappointed

When we checked in. We were told that the guest bathroom was out of service. The management company claimed to have sent us a email the night before explaining this. However we should no record of receiving an email. At this point we had no choice but to accept it. As we had no other place to stay. When arriving at the condo it was obvious that the bathroom had been out of service for more than just one night. I feel as though I was purposely not told about the bathroom situation until it was to late to back out. I felt a phone call explaining the situation as soon as it came to their attention would have been the proper thing for them to do. When I checked out I told them I was not happy and that I knew they had known about the bathroom for sometime and had waited until the last minute to inform us. They did not deny this claim. I also attempt to reach out to the real estate agent amd never received a response. What upset me the most was not being informed in a timely manor. Anyone one staying in this unit in the next few weeks may want to call and make sure the bathroom is now in service. Because I fear they will not tell you until it is too late. This review is more towards the management company than the property itself. I property we very much enjoyed.

Great views, but a couple of hiccups along the way

We were sold on the view from the unit! It was the best beach/ocean view that we have seen ever. We received a call about an hour before check in that told us one of the restrooms was out of order, which was fairly rough because we had 3 adults and a 15 year old. Everyone had to use the bathroom in the master bedroom which meant no privacy. Seems like this may be lingering from the post in March about the floor dropping. Hopefully this gets fixed very soon so that others don’t have to use 1 bathroom when they signed up to have 2. Also, upon arrival the AC was not working, but Ruth was very helpful to get someone there to fix it. It was a very quick fix once they came. The pool code that was given on the paperwork was incorrect. Hopefully they make changes to give the correct code from the get go. This unfortunately was a red tide week, but no one could have predicted that. We made the best out of it because it wasn’t too warm and we had the sand and view which were perfect. Another great thing that we found in this unit was an abundance of beach supplies! There was a beach cart, plenty of chairs, toys and an umbrella! All in all, we had a great time in a beautiful area.
