I am not rating too low but if you're in this unit and have an obnoxious sound in your room keeping you awake, please let everyone know the owner did nothing to remedy the issue.
The first night of our stay we were awakened around midnight by a very loud and unusual sound. Mind you, I am a very heavy sleeper. We determined the very loud, rhythmic squeaking came from inside the floor boards directly under our bed. I recorded it. Eventually, we concluded it sounded more like a machine of some kind running in the unit below us. Around 2am we notified the owner through the app. Because it was coming from INSIDE the floor boards underneath our bed, we tapped loudly on the floor to notify whoever it was to turn off whatever they had running. They IMMEDIATELY tapped back but shut off whatever was making the noise. We provided the owner all this information.
Next day the owner told us to not tap on the floor because tenants below complained. He just took their side. He also said he did not think the noise was coming from their unit. That night, the sound played 100% of the night. We considered leaving next day, a day early, because there was no relief in sight and we had barely slept for two days. We explained all to the owner. I also texted him my recordings.
Owner claimed to fix it but never offered any discounts for our misery. Not even an apology. No dumpster in back as stated, but you must throw out garbage. Nowhere to put dog waste. Must use neighboring dumpsters for trash
