The room does not meet the standards of cleanliness that most people expect. The door to the deck wasn't clean and had many spider webs. Good thing the staff is friendly and responsive.

The bed was flat out terrible. Housekeeping never actually made the bed (which I don't mind), but after the first few days (I was there for two weeks) I had to ask for them to provide fresh towels/facecloths - it was clear they weren't coming into the room at all and it had to be requested.

The room was filthy. Mirrors were not clean. Sinks, and counters were disgusting, I had old gum on my nightstand. The latch to keep you safe inside your room was busted off and not replaced, cracks in the floors full of hair and dirt, splatters on the wall, bed was hard as a rock, like sleeping on a box spring. Place was absolutely disgusting.

Positives, Clean sheets, towels. Clean bathroom. Negatives, room needs paint badly, room smelled musty and old, lock and screen to balcony need replacing, rug is very old and smells. Suggestions, as the owners may be new. They are trying, and it shows. Rooms definitely need updates to make this a higher rated property. Breakfast was fine. No complaints.
