Easy check in and accommodating staff. I could park right at my door. Room was basic but clean and the bed comfy. Fairbanks Inn was perfect for a stopover night after a long day of driving.

I will start with the fact that the people were very nice. I sort of blame the economy for the poor conditions and I know they were working on them. There was no TV, a phone that was not plugged in or working, no Internet, so there’s essentially nothing to do unless you go into town. Breakfast was pretty sparse. I would’ve given it less of a rating if it wasn’t for the wonderful staff. I think they are a victim of the flooding and other economic issues in the area so no fault of their own.

A place to lay our heads

We needed a place to stay for the night and this place was affordable for us. The bed was comfortable and the stay was quiet. My only complaint was that the heat was tricky to use and during the night I had to get up to turn it back up because it got very cold in the room. Overall the place was great for what we needed, a place to sleep.
