Lovely family stay

We really enjoyed our time at 3 Palms. The house was great for our group and had everything we needed close at hand. We enjoyed exploring a few of the beaches around the island as well. Thanks for the hospitality! Should we find ourselves back on St John, 3 Palms is certainly the first place I’d check to stay.

Love Three Palms!

This is my fourth stay at Three Palms and it never disappoints. The house is very comfortable and a convenient ten minute walk to town. We will definitely be back!

Great spot on the beach

Open space home with plenty of rooms. Rocky beach access with sounds of the ocean. A little tricky to get to the first time but walkable to downtown and taxi less than a 5 minute to downtown.

Wonderful, beautiful home.

Wonderful trip

The property was so beautiful and the location was perfect. We had adults, teens, and small children and the house was perfect and spacious for all of us. The walk to Cruz Bay was short and easy even with the kids in tow. John was so great, informative, and readily available for any questions that we had. It truly was the perfect vacation. Many memories were made and we all hope to return again!

Great stay in a great place!

This home is fantastic. The location to town, the setting on the beach, the amenities (spices even!!) in the kitchen....we had nothing but a superb time. From the invite to the local weekly party, to Dave’s prompt attention to any need or question, our time was flawless.

Everyone's Vacation Dream House

The house has incredible views of the aquamarine sea from every room. It was great with young children since we had plenty of space to play outside, roam around the rocky beach out front, and when we were ready to relax inside, the house offered a large comfy sectional for movies and a sprawling kitchen for cooking. We didn't want to leave!

Everything was perfect!

The property is beautiful and spacious. It has a dream kitchen. Jon was very responsive to every question and request. We even met his lovely mother, who shared a calendar of her art with us. It could not have been a better holiday!

Great house - Perfect location

There were 10 of us staying at Three Palms. Unfortunately, we missed the first night because of airline issues. However, once we got to the house, it was perfect! It was a short walk to downtown St. John, the kitchen was completely stocked, the view from the patio was amazing, and communications with Jon were very prompt. I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely come and stay again.

Lovely experience, great location, ocean waves steps from villa

We had a fantastic time at Three Palms Villa with all the comforts of home and much more! We loved the 24/7 sound of the ocean waves. Roosters crowing everywhere and peacocks and goats walking right behind the villa added so much to our stay on St John. Property managers Julie and Dave were very helpful in greeting us, arranging services and giving us tips on dining, hiking & sightseeing. Highly recommend!

Wonderful week!!

I simply cannot say enough about this property!! Beautiful, accommodating, convenient, the list goes on and on. I have used VRBO so many times and I have never been in a house that had literally ANYTHING you could need!! The view is amazing, the wildlife, the proximity to Cruz Bay! I would give this home 100 stars if I could! Simply amazing!

Winter get Away

Our diverse group of nine enjoyed being so close to town and being on the water. The house is beautiful and spacious and we did not feel on top of each other. We also really enjoyed watching the car ferries go by and also the other boats traveling around the island. Being close to the grocery stores was also a plus. We had a great time and thank Julie and Dave for being excellent hosts. I wish we were still on St. John!

A magical place!!`

This was our second stay at Jon's place and it was just as magical an experience as the first. Jon is incredibly available and takes care of all of the details of his home so that you feel very cared for as his guests. The villa has a very private feel despite being incredibly convenient to everything in downtown Cruz Bay. The spaces are great for large groups. Plenty of room for privacy but the great room is also really well designed for socializing. My wife and I both experienced a palpable sense of immediate relaxation as soon as we arrived. We will be back!

Amazing Girlfriend’s Trip

Our vacation was a pleasure from start to end. From the beginning, Jon was patient and responsive to all our questions. There were originally 10 of us joining our annual girlfriends trip and everyone had questions. Three Palms seemed almost too good to be true. It in fact exceeded all our expectations. It is a beautiful home and was the perfect size for the 8 of us that went. It was perfectly stocked w necessities. Each bedroom was charming. The patio had a lovely view and was a favorite morning coffee spot. One friend will be making plans to bring her family. Many enjoyed a morning walk to watch the town wake up and were joined by a darling duck they named Ting on several mornings. It was hysterical. There are no negatives! Kudos to Jon and his wonderful managers, David and Julie. We loved it all! Thank you for our best girlfriend’s trip yet. We all want to come back.

Wonderfully spacious home in a prime location

The home is located just a few minutes walk to the Cruz Bay town center (part of the walk is steep & best reserved for those who can manage walking inclines/declines). The drive is an easy and very short one. The home is not on a busy street so there's very little traffic. The noise you'll encounter will be roosters ca-cawing around 4am, eager bodybuilders across the street jamming to music in early evening, and the ninnies of occasional lost goats - none of which were bothersome to us. We felt the location was perfect. The views are spectacular from the home and just as the pictures depict. We snorkeled right off the beach to the right of the home on our first day and saw lobsters, a barricuda, angel fish, huge brain coral, and lots of colorful fish. Beware the car barges though! Unsightly barges run all day and into the night right in front of the house (the latest one we saw was around 9:45pm). This is one of the reasons we are giving 4 stars instead of 5. The home is perfectly spacious. The pictures represent the home well although we thought the balcony was off the master (it's actually off a smaller middle upstairs bedroom). The views from the master are what you'd want to see every day! Just beautiful! The bathroom is well appointed with an open-air shower and large free-standing tub. The hot and cold are reveresed in the master shower so caution is advised. We were able to live as we do at home - we did laundry in an up-to-date washer/dryer set, we grilled out on the gas grill on the patio, we ate together in a large kitchen overlooking the bay. A few comments: far left knob on the grill wouldn't turn on; microwave doesn't work; dishwasher is on its last leg; ice maker in the fridge doesn't work nor does the water dispenser. These also contribute to the missing star. We were able to use one small cooler that was available at the house. There were beach chairs but we didn't use or inspect them. You can rent snorkel gear, paddle boards, and kayaks from the managers who also run the motel/inn next door. There were other homes we considered renting that offered those for free but here you have to rent them. Overall, we enjoyed staying in this home with our party of four. The location, views, and spaciousness are all five stars with an overall rating of four stars.

Great location, so much space!

Our family LOVED staying at Three Palms for our first ever visit to St. John. There was plenty of space for the nine of us ages 18 months, 5, 14, 19, 27, 28, 29 and mom and pops in our late 40's! The view from the master bedroom was a favorite part for us, ocean during the day and the beautiful star filled sky at night! Everyone having their own room was perfect, the hot tub was a favorite but the best part, the location!!! Close enough to Cruz Bay shopping and restaurants, grocery stores and nightlife. It worked out perfect for our family who didn't always have the same plan in mind for the day or night, those of us that wanted to go into town, perfect little walk. Those that wanted to stay in, the patio was an awesome spot to chill and relax! Jon was great, easy to contact, very responsive and super helpful. Couldn't recommend Three Palms enough!

Great house and location!

We loved staying here! The house is beautiful and very well kept. Jon is great and very helpful. Perfect location to town. The house is well equipped with everything you will need. From beach chairs, towels, cooler and floats! We look forward to renting in the future!

Beautiful house

The house was clean and close to stores and beaches the view is nice at the villa especially in the morning sipping on some coffee Jon is super nice anything we needed he was right there definitely coming back next year..

Loved Three Palms House - couples vacation

Four couples stayed at Three Palms and all of us loved it. Having a spacious house on the water was phenomenal. Listen to the waves, having morning coffee on the large patio during sunrise, enjoying the hot tub after dinner or day at the beach we’re some of the favorites. Jon, the host, was awesome and very accommodating. Place is very maintained and kitchen was perfect especially for a group of 8. Never have had 2 wash and 2 dry machines at a property before which helped with a large group. The grouped enjoyed the short special trail walk into town for dinner which took 5-8 mins going to Beach Bar. Jon provided nice beach chairs, towels, coolers for the beach and floats if you want to chill in the water just steps from patio. Overall, house was perfect for the 4 couples and made the trip extra special having our own private location. Thanks again Jon!!

Amazing villa right on the water

Our whole group loved this place. It is a rarity to find a place near the water and one from which you can walk into town in 5 min via a pleasant trail. You can hear the waves at night and we enjoyed floating on the provided floaties during the day. Jon was a wonderful host and spent lots of time with the map showing us snorkeling spots and answering all of our questions. The kitchen is a dream if you like to cook - there was a full spice drawer and everything we needed. A note about arrival: if you've never stayed on St. John before you'll probably be flabbergasted by their address system. The roads have names but no one uses them in addresses - you just get a number and a neighbourhood and of course that doesn't work on Google maps. Our cab driver didn't know the address so we ended up having to call Jon and have him direct the driver, which all went fine, but it would've been easier to have a location on a map. The house is beside Sea Shore Allure, which is on Google maps. But the island's strange address system can't be helped, and everything about this place exceeded our expectations. Thank you Jon for being such a wonderful host!
