I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It has a great view and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Grande Samar beach is so close and I went there every day. The only hiccup was that when I booked it it was a Room and Car Rental, so I thought I was paying for both when I booked. However, I discovered that I had to still pay for my temporary license and car rental. Which set me back in my money availability. They helped me out some by getting me to the airport for free on the day that I left.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hillview, the apartments are nicely sized & kept in good condition, with a nice pool to cool off. What really wins for this place is the location, a few minutes walk to Grand Anse & 10 mins drive to BBC beach which is great. A bit of a steep hill to navigate but ok if you are without mobility issues. I would stay here again for sure. Hot tip, check out “Dexter’s restaurant” for a hidden very close by gem, the food is amazing, trust me. The area is also very safe & the people are very friendly. What are you waiting for, book!

We had an AMAZING time in Grenada and hillview apartments. Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness of the room to the front desk service. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and warm. We also rented a car with them, which was seamless, they even provided the Grenadian drivers license. Def recommend hillview for first time or returning visitor to Grenada.

Had a very late flight getting into the Island and I believe this made our introduction to the premises a bit unpleasant and a feeling of what did we get into. There was no one to receive us or no instructions left. Had to wake host and we felt very bad as he did not seem too happy about that. We were all hoping to at least have a cup of tea but soon discovered the electric kettle was sketchily plugged into a transformer output that we could not get to work. The lighting throughout was very dim and discovered the fixture in the kitchen was not working. As we explored the apartment, we found that there were limited dishes. The apartment was advertised as accommodation for 6 and we were 5. There were 2 glasses, 2 coffee mugs( so we all could not have tea at once if we got the kettle working that night), 4 dinner plates and 2 bowls. No fry pan, cutting board, can opener. We then saw a kettle on the stove and thought aha some tea. No luck there either. Stove was also unplugged so the electronic starter could not work, but also found out next day there was no gas. The bedrooms very basic, no nightstand next to the beds. Had problems turning ACs on. The middle bedroom had no window and the light had to be kept on at all times. The next morning we had to wait for the office staff to come in at 9am to present a list of what we needed. The most redeeming factor to our accommodation was the Ocean View and assistance from office Staff, Niki. The apartment itself was spacious.

The view is undeniably great, however the owner & co. are hostile and unacommodative. Lady on the front desk was unhelpful. General contact & room requests were straight up ignored over the what’s app. Made for an unpleasant stay. These folk really give Grenada a bad name. For this, I can’t recommend this place.

The view from the property is amazing and the pool was very nice to enjoy at the end of the day. Clearly the car rental takes priority over needs of paying guests. The TV did not work the entire 2 weeks we where there. The coffee maker was there but broken. We asked repeatedly for a monthly rate if we returned next year. None was ever provided. On a positive note the cleaning staff where excellent and cleaned our unit every 3 days.

The “grand anse beach” and sunset views were phenomenal! Bar and swimming pool - great! Personnel very friendly and accommodating. Fun walking to the beach. Wonderful restaurants as neighbors!

I am very pleased with my stay here, apartment was cosy, and well stocked view was exceptional, the pool was beautiful and our host was warm, friendly, readily available and very helpful! I also uterlise the rental service which made it even better! We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely be returning. I highly recommend HILL VIEW APARTMENT and VEHICLE RENTALS!!

Hillview are good standard apartments and studios and Makida is fantastic- I’ll give her 5* for her amazing customer service and being so friendly & helpful. The views are amazing! Yes it’s up a short very steep hill but as long as your fairly fit it should be be an issue- location is great for St George’s end of Grand Anse beach. Bed firm and comfortable, good Aircon, good WiFi and hot water. Decent small plunge pool. It’s a shame the owner is not the friendliest of Hosts! But if you ignore that and the fact that the car hire side of the business is all around you- it’s a great, reasonably priced base to explore beautiful Grenada. With a bit of extra attention these apartments could be amazing! So much potential- but we stayed 2 weeks and apart from the above small things I would 100 recommend for Grenada on a budget! Thanks Makida you were amazing and deserve a pay rise!!

When I arrived, it was very hot and dark. I turned the AC on and it was broken. The fridge was unplugged and moldy, the television remote had the batteries removed, the plates and glass cups were dirty and unwashed. There were no towels, toilet paper or bedding. There was a single pillow on the bed. The floors were not cleaned and you could not walk barefoot. There was poor lighting. The apartment is in very poor condition, but the staff was very kind, polite and pleasant. It was easy to cancel the reservation through expedia

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Took the time tonexplain about local facitites. Flight was late getting in. But very helpful in pointing out how to get about. View from front is beautiful. Didnt try the pool although kook very inviting.

The room was ok .. the Check in process was horrible. The lady at the front desk was on a personal call which was ok speaker and didn’t come off the phone to do the check in process .. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I’ll never stay there again
