This is a great place to stay. The staff was efficient, and friendly. The room was great. Only down side is I wish they had rooms that were Pet Free. Although it wasn't a problem, I prefer rooms that remain Pet Free.

Service and accountability could be better

Service could have been better . Visiting from out of state and when you walk in , no one is there to greet you. When I was on ally helped, I let them know I had 2 dogs . So the fee along with the deposit fee would be charged on the account . The receptionist ran my card and I can see the dog fee . Then continued to run it over and over for the deposit . I let her know I was traveling and to please not run it so many times or my bank would flag it being I was on another state . I called my bank and it turned out it was their terminal that was not working . They refused to take responsibility of it and insisted it was my card . I gave her 2 bank cards and 2 capital ones . All with money . She then said , “ unless you have cash” how am I to give cash on a deposit that is to be held on a card and refunded after check out?! The hotel also needs more ventilation. The hallways stick with all different meals since they do come with a kitchen on each room.

Quick stopover

Check in staff very friendly and helpful and our room was spacious and clean. The room was very dated and the bed was not super comfortable but it worked for our super quick stopover to break up a long drive home.

First we pulled into the parking lot to be greeted to a parking lot party. Music being played with a trunk opened to people drinking beers out of the back of it. They were glaring at every car coming in like they were trying to intimidate anybody coming in. The music playing from the car was loud and obnoxious. Then we got our room just in time to look out the window over looking the party. That's when we saw what appeared to be an employee get into the party vehicle and leave. Later I attempted to go to the pool, I was greeted to another party, again spanish music being played loud enough to be uncomfortable and multiple individuals being loud and disruptive to everyone else. The young lady that was working walked out the door and just turned around and didn't even say a word to these individuals. The next day we went hiking early and planned to be back at the hotel midday, to again try and enjoy the pool. We pulled up and were greeted by a gentleman that was enjoying a 6 pack of Pacifico while trying to stay cool in the shade of the only tree in the laying lot. He tried to start a conversation with me and my wife but was too intoxicated to even understand him. I then went to the pool where there was no clean towels just a bunch of used ones from the night before party. Then i saw 2 of the employees go over and have lunch with the intoxicated guy. Obviously we left and went to get a room somewhere else. The employees and their friends run this hotel!!!

We liked the bike trail that is just next door -- great for taking the dog on a morning jaunt. The building has very thin walls, we had noise from rooms next door and above (children yelling, heaving walking, dog barking) until quite late. Very little in the way of noise damping. There is a full kitchen in the room but zero dishes or utensils, so mostly a waste of space for us -- perhaps if you are staying longer you could ask for these things.
