the entrance is not accessible by car so the owners tried to co ordinate a time to help us with the bags. No elevator but easy to walk into old town. Breakfast is off premises.

Great location in the old town of split. Everything you need is walking distance. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included along with other perks. We arranged for transportation to and from the airport. Very punctual. They suggested local restaurants. Everything was wonderful and I will go back when I visit again.

Don’t pass up the opportunity to stay at Grgur Ninski Rooms. Beautiful & unique. Difficult to find but owner, Falkland, met us outside the Diocletian’s Place west main gate. Stones throw from there. Owner very helpful. Rooms adorable. Nicely decorated. Refreshing drinks in fridge was a nice welcoming gift. Walking around easy, lots to enjoy & explore in the palace. Waterfront & excursions through the east gate. Amazing!

What an amazing location—right inside the walled old city! The windows were insulated enough to make room quiet, despite all the tourist activity right below. Owner/manager was very helpful and arranged for affordable parking off-site. Really comfortable room. Breakfast at nearby restaurant was adequate for high-density tourist area.

This property is literally inside Diocletian’s castle. You feel transported back a thousand years except you have a beautiful room with superior amenities. Everything was lovely. Book the room with the balcony and you can enjoy people watching while drinking the complimentary wine.

Stayed for 4 nights- highly recommend for anyone looking for a great quality place to stay in easy walking distance of the old part of Split. Breakfast provided at the nearby restaurant was superb and the welcome drinks available in the room were much appreciated. Thank you so much to our host for great communication throughout- would recommend the option of airport transfer to make the journey super smooth. Hope to return to split before too long and would definitely stay here again.

Check in was very easy and fast. We met up with our host so he could park our car. He had detailed videos of how to reach our room and also sent multiple ideas for restaurants and things to do. This hotel is in the palace so there is shopping and food all around you. It was super easy to jump in on a walking tour and learn more about the area! The room was clean and remodeled. The bathroom was pretty tight for 2 people and there wasn’t really anywhere to put your toiletries. The shower was beautiful and the water pressure was excellent. The streets inside the palace are very noisy, so if you’re looking for quiet, this would not be the place for you. Overall it was a very nice stay and I would recommend these rooms to everyone who wants to be close to the action!

Amazing! The host was brilliant, lots of great tips and helped with parking the car (offsite) The location is perfect. Clean spacious and modern but meeting the historic feel of the city. The hotel is part of the palace and within the amazing narrow streets. Access to the hotel is via passcode/ token. Would recommend and definitely come back.

This is a beautiful and luxurious room right in the middle of the old castle with plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes all within a walled historical site. The owner picked us up at the airport and was very kind and willing to help out with anything.
