Very cosy, clean and well equiped flat which is located in a an absolute beautiful serene valley. Next village is about 5 minutes away by car. Friendly host, including his family, was available all the time. We spend a great time with two children - age 9 & 12.

Emplacement assez compliqué à trouver avec le GPS car celui ci ne passe pas. Explications envoyées par le propriétaire précises mais mal indiqué sur place. Accueil rapide et directif, location sale dans la cuisine avec des mouches à profusion, espace salon idem. Chambres et sanitaires propres, mais en enfilade sur 2 niveaux, chambre dans le pigeonnier avec un accès exigu, escalier en colimaçon glissant et décrochage dans le mur. Espace extérieur très réduit, et ouvert à la vue de tous. Piscine partagée avec les propriétaires, seul lieu où l'on peut capter le wifi car le propriétaire ne fait pas de partage internet. Pas de télévision, mais ce n'est pas gênant, en revanche linge de lit et serviettes fournis tel quel précisé. Situation géographique très isolée, idéale pour randonnées.

Joli gîte, mais quelques points à savoir

Le gîte a du cachet, la propreté est irréprochable, l'accueil chaleureux, l'environnement agréable. Il y a cependant des points à noter avant de faire son choix :- les chambres ne sont pas isolées : il faut passer par la première pour accéder à la salle de bain et aux toilettes, et pour la seconde, les escaliers se situent dans la salle de bain.- les wc sont très petits- il n'y a pas de congélateur/ freezer pour les pains de glace- il y a une petite machine à café filtre 4/6 tasses- il n'y a ni télévision, ni WIFI, ni réseaux internet/ téléphonique, déconnexion garantie - les GPS Waze et Google Maps ne mènent pas à l'adresse.Pour nous globalement le séjour s'est très passé.Merci!ill'escalier l'escalier se situe dans dans

Nice quiet place.

We spent some lovely days in Saudon. A quiet little hamlet. Warm welcome by Jean-Pierre and a good talk about what to do in the area. A car is a must to get around. We had hoped to be able to walk to the nearest town, but the main road is too busy. Regardig the house: You need to pass by the owners home to get to the pool. The view from the pool is great. The beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and we can highly recommend this place. :-)

Logement dans une maison ancienne superbement restaurée; Au calme absolu, supermarché à 3 kms. De magnifiques balades de tous niveaux à proximité immédiate, et une piscine pour se rafraichir en fin de journée. Merci beaucoup!

Ce que nous avons aimé *la région et ses multiples activités : randonnées (forêt de Saou ou à proximité immédiate du gîte), activités aquatiques (riviere, canyoning), villages, marchés *le cachet du gîte en belles pierres, la piscine et sa terrasse en hauteur, les odeurs et les couleurs *les multiples bons conseils de notre hôte très accommodant, sa disponibilité, la propreté du logement *le traitement de l'eau de la piscine non agressif Ce que nous n'avons pas aimé *l'enfilade des chambres (couloir d'accès aux toilettes et à la salle de bains passant par la chambre1 sans séparation physique, accès chambre 2 à partir de la salle de bains) : pas de séparation = pas d'intimité *l'accès à la piscine restreint à des horaires (10/12h - 16/18h) car piscine partagée en alternance avec le propriétaire = non spécifié dans l'annonce. Ce n'est pas un accès permanent, ce qui était important pour nous vu l'ensoleillement et la chaleur de la région *Hameau isolé et pourtant le matin, 3/4 voitures qui partent et que l'on entend, les fenêtres étant ouvertes pour aérer durant la nuit *Pas de congélateur
