The mattresses in 2 of the bedrooms were terrible. They were still wrapped in plastic when we arrived. We removed the plastic for 2 of the 3 beds. The front bedrooms have mattresses that are about 4 inches thick, which compressed to an uncomfortable level. You could feel every board on the boxspring through the mattress. There were no blankets in the front bedrooms, other than the decorative ones. The kitchen content is lacking. For example, the listing states that the house sleeps 6 but there were only 5 forks, 4 soup spoons, 2 teaspoons & 4 butter knives. There is a coffee pot but no toaster or salt & pepper. There were pots & pans but only 1 small, flat baking pan and 2 pizza baking pans. No ice cube trays or storage containers. The location was ok - not far from I55. Washer & dryer provided but no detergent or fabric softener. We couldn't find the extra toilet paper and paper towels were located and the host told us that their guests usually brought their own toiletries after the items they proved as a "courtesy" ran out. I've never heard of that! Towels were very small and very thin - basically useless unless that's all you have available. Full disclosure - we received a small discount for booking for more than 7 days. Also, we received a refund of $250 for the inconvenience of the sleeping accommodations. I believe we should have received a larger refund but am not willing to continue to discuss.
