We have not stayed here for 9 years until end of August this year, evening meal was good, breakfast disappointing, self service, used to be table service, hot was only like warm and fried eggs had been sat in the dish a long time, the bathroom was dirty obviously been cleaned but not properly the soap containers over the bath needed a good clean, toilet seat was very discoloured, where the sink was fitted under the fitting of worktop was a total disgrace, in the corners of floor, on the door dust because it’s been done quick, and not in corners, would definitely not stay again. Bed very comfortable and pillows, coffee and tea not stocked only could get coffee no tea bags and long life milk although there was a fridge.

The property was close to the cruise port and the train station. Everyone was so nice and willing to help and answer questions. It was our first time anywhere in Europe. Staying here was a good start to our trip.

We chose this hotel to be close to the port. We found that people could check in before three if they didn’t use a third party. Six hours after arrival we got to our room. No refrigerator in the room as advertised and no laundry on site either. A refrigerator was provided the day after checkin as medication needed chilled. If up to the horrible guest services team it would not have happened. Checkin guest services area were not friendly in the least. The bright light of the stay was the concierge and his amazing customer service.

The concierge was an absolute gem. I forget his name, but loved him so much I took a picture with him. Very helpful and they had everyone who was getting a taxi for the cruise ports down to a science.

What was an upmarket hotel when opened 30 years ago, it is now in need of a refurbishment. Bathroom particularly poor with badly cracked basin and shower in bath with shower curtain, broken lift and so on. Come on Leonardo you must have plans? Saying this, at the price point it is actually good value given its central location, decent bar and free ample parking.

We're very happy with our precious room and early check-in and Ms. Nadia made our check-in smoothly and quickly. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. On our first time she went above and beyond to make sure that we're comfortable. On our second time staying with them she made us feel so special with the executive suite room upgrade.
