Please look into alternative hotels on the island that are significantly better than this property. The room had visible mold and rust, which was unacceptable. Additionally, While we were eating dinner at Tequila Sunset, we received a call from a staff member saying our dogs were barking and that complaints had been made—despite the fact that it was New Year’s Eve with fireworks going off and other guests’ dogs barking as well. This is a pet-friendly hotel, and guests cannot reasonably control occasional barking, especially under those circumstances. The situation felt unfairly handled and added unnecessary stress to our stay.

We’ve stayed here before without any problems, but this time was really disappointing. The room was dirty—especially the bathroom. We actually had to buy our own cleaning supplies just to clean the toilet and shower. There was a noticeable crack under the door that let in a bunch of mosquitoes, and the AC didn’t seem to be working properly, so the room felt muggy and uncomfortable. I get that you get what you pay for, but this stay was definitely below expectations.
