We stayed here on our last day after returning from St. Maarten, following a beachside stay in Anguilla, and while this property wasn’t as nice as our earlier Anguilla experience, it was perfectly sufficient for a short stopover. The location is convenient—close to both the airport and the Blowing Point Ferry terminal—and there are a few restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel itself is very quiet, with not many people around, and it has a pool for relaxing. Our room was on the third floor, and it’s worth noting there’s no elevator, so keep that in mind if you’re traveling with luggage. The room, however, was clean and much larger than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. One thing that really stood out was the excellent communication from the staff. They were friendly, responsive, and consistently available via text messaging, which made everything—from questions to check‑out—smooth and easy. The key‑drop system and availability of beach towels added to the convenience. While the hotel doesn’t have direct beach access, they do provide towels, and many beaches on the island offer free access if you eat or drink there, often at a reasonable cost. The view from across the street is excellent as well. As with most of Anguilla, I’d recommend having a rental car to get around comfortably. Overall, this was a quiet, convenient place to stay for a night, with standout staff communication and a surprisingly spacious room.

The is one of the best properties I’ve stayed in. The room had an awesome ocean view and the host kept me updated. I was also allowed to check in early as I got in on the island early. Very convenient location. Highly recommend.

My wife and I enjoyed a 9 day stay at La Vue October 8 - 17. The entire staff were friendly and very helpful, the facilities are well maintained with beautiful tropical landscaping, the room was spacious and had a nice kitchen, and the location was central yet quiet with easy access. We will be back to this classic and beautiful Caribbean vacation hotel!!

Hotel has a fantastic view of the bay and in a very convenient location to get anywhere on the island. Our room was clean and very large. Only issue during our stay was no TV or Internet service due to service issue, so we were told. They never disclosed the service issue upon checking in which would have been the right thing to do. No offer was made to compensate for lack of service.

I was pretty satisfied. I was comfortable, got work done in between relaxation. A few minor aesthetic and cosmetic issues. Got a special deal, which I appreciated. Especially appreciated the work ethic and positive/polite attitude of the staff. Because it was carnival, access to restaurant was limited. Decent find for the time.

Great bang for buck ocean view hotel

Great hotel right overlooking the water of Sandy ground beach. The resort is not on the water, there is a small street and steep cliff in front. But the view is amazing. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and comfortable bed. The picture on this home page was our room, lol. Look at our room pic - just fantastic. Small pool in a courtyard type setting. Centrally located to getting around the island. Inexpensive for all you get here. Our stay was only one night, as our plans changed. You must try the Village Bakehouse for amazing pastries and coffee which is only a mile or 2 away.
