Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
This host was terrible. My parents and I were in town for a wedding, and they checked in to the room and found the place hadn't been cleaned and the bed wasn't made. We contacted the host, who said it was a mistake with the cleaner and they would personally go clean the room. They flat out lied. We got back and it was exactly as it was before, so we decided to try to find a cleaner to wash the sheets. Long story short, we got the sheets off the bed and found bed bugs! By this time it was after midnight and we started looking for other hotels in the area but they were all booked within 40 mins. So I had to sleep on the couch while my parents and other guest slept on the other 2 beds just hoping that there were no bugs. When I complained to the host the next day and after canceling the rest of the trip, he said, "lol". He offered a 50% refund, and I had to go through VRBO customer service to get a full refund (which takes many, many phone calls). Worst accommodation experience of my life!
