Pros:
The house was very roomy and fit four adults very well. The kitchen was well-stocked with any utensils we needed (the air-fryer was amazing), the couch and kitchen table were plenty big enough to fit us all, and the showers were excellent. They have a concrete pad to park a rental car on keeping it out of the road. The host was attentive and typically responded within a day. Hummingbird beach is only a 15 minute drive!
Cons:
There is only air conditioning in 2 out of 3 rooms. If we had known this, we would have likely stayed elsewhere - that room was HOT even with two floor fans. The air conditioners that we did have were very nice. The nearby beach was NOT a 20-minute walk from the house. Be prepared - it is a 45-minute HIKE one-way. I mean sliding rocks, muddy trenches, etc. It is not something anyone should do in flip-flops. The house is an hour away from many of the major beaches and excursion sites. The neighborhood is EXTREMELY loud. About 10-20 dogs bark all night long and by the time the sun rises, all of the neighbors are outside SCREAMING, banging things, and making as much noise as possible. If you are a light sleeper, avoid at all costs. We were staying during Hurricane Beryl so we also lost power for 2 says and had no noise makers or fan to drown out the noise of the neighbors.
Overall, the house was very nice but there were a lot of key details I would have loved to know before booking.
