El apartamento está situado en Sant'Agata sui due Golfi, un pueblo turístico pero tranquilo y local que se encuentra entre el Golf de Nápoles y el Golf de Salerno, a solo 10 minutos en coche de Sorrento. El apartamento está ubicado en una villa de propiedad privada, a solo 3 minutos a pie del centro del pueblo, donde también vivimos yo y mi familia (en otro apartamento de la casa), por lo que siempre puede contar con mi ayuda si la necesita. !
La ubicación es ideal para excursiones de un día a las atracciones más famosas de la zona (Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Capri, Pompeya, Herculano, Nápoles, el Vesubio, etc.) gracias a la posición estratégica entre los dos Golfo.
El apartamento es muy luminoso y espacioso y consta de 3 dormitorios, 2 baños y un comedor con una cocina totalmente equipada donde encontrará todo lo que necesita para autoabastecerse durante su estancia. El patio al aire libre es perfecto para compartir sus comidas al aire libre y tomar el sol en las tumbonas, teniendo la oportunidad de disfrutar de una sombra refrescante en cualquier momento que lo desee gracias al dosel de madera. También hay un horno de leña (solo para mostrar) y una zona de barbacoa, perfecta para cocinar deliciosa comida local.

DESCRIPCIÓN

El apartamento es de unos 100 mq y cuenta con conexión wifi gratuita a internet. Está compuesto por un comedor con TV y una hermosa chimenea; una cocina equipada con placa de gas de cuatro fuegos, nevera, congelador, horno, microondas, cafetera, tostadora y cafetera; un baño con ducha y lavadora; un segundo baño con bañera; La zona de noche se compone de dos habitaciones dobles y una habitación triple con una cama doble y una cama individual.

Estaré a su disposición para ayudarlo a organizar excursiones en barco a Capri y la costa de Amalfi y organizar traslados en taxi.

La pequeña ciudad de Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi ofrece todas las comodidades que pueda necesitar, como restaurantes familiares, muchos bares de café y pastelerías, heladerías y también hay muchas tiendas de pasta fresca, frutas y verduras, ¡supermercados, panaderías, carnicerías y pescaderías, lo que le permite experimentar el sabor de los auténticos productos locales!
También vale la pena mencionar la iglesia parroquial con su althar de nácar, el único en el mundo, y el Monasterio de Deserto, desde donde se puede apreciar una vista maravillosa.
El área también ofrece varios senderos a lo largo de la costa y tierra adentro, ¡ideal para los amantes del senderismo!

INFORMACIÓN DE VIAJE

Aproximadamente, desde el A3 Napoli - Salerno, salga en Castellammare di Stabia y siga las indicaciones "Penisola Sorrentina". Una vez en Meta di Sorrento, siga las indicaciones hacia Positano y luego S. Agata (7 km). En la primera intersección (donde puede ver el Grand Hotel Due Golfi), gire a la izquierda y continúe durante unos 800 m. Cuando vea el supermercado Conad, gire a la izquierda y siga recto durante unos 200 m, hasta que finalmente llegue a su apartamento de vacaciones.

No traiga ni alquile un automóvil grande: la carretera de acceso (200 m) es bastante estrecha y podría encontrar problemas para conducir si no está acostumbrado. Hay dos espacios de estacionamiento cercados gratuitos disponibles dentro de la propiedad.

Beautiful Property but not in Sorrento

Maria's property was very clean and well maintained with a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the coast. She was also very responsive to questions and communicated quickly with us through Whatsapp. The location of the property however was not what we expected. The ad lists the property as being in Sorrento, but as we quickly found out, that was not the case as we couldn't even find it on our GPS using the Sorrento address. It is actually in St Agata, which is a 6 mile uphill drive from Sorrento. This meant that we had to spend significant time and money getting to Sorrento and then back again. For example, a taxi to the marina in Sorrento cost 65 Euro. If you are looking for a place to relax in solitude, this is a perfect location as it is quiet and you can walk to the small town nearby for a delicious dinner or groceries, but if you are planning to visit other places on the Amalfi Coast or Capri, you may want to consider staying somewhere much closer to Sorrento to avoid the stress of always having to find a driver to take you up and down from the property.

Excellent Hospitality/Beautiful Home/Difficult Location

Our hosts were wonderful. They were friendly, and communicated with us reliably. In addition, the house was one of our more comfortable stays on this trip. It was sparkly clean, and would have had a wonderful view, if we could have seen it. (We had horrible weather.) Unfortunately, we did not realize how difficult the logistics related to staying at this home would be. Traveling to and from required quite a bit of effort. Located in Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, it was not simple or easy to access. Travel to and from the home each day of our three-night stay was expensive and cumbersome. This would have been a fabulous place to stay if we had been able to stay longer, if we'd had good weather and were there to relax at the home itself, or if we'd had a car. Unfortunately, for our short stay, and because we wanted to see Sorrento and Positano, the logistics were difficult. I would highly recommend this home, but walking will not be an option. You will need reliable transportation and a plan. (The busses were not necessarily reliable!) All in all, we did have a wonderful stay.

Perfect experience

Paradise on the Amalfi Coast!

This lovely, well equipped, clean apartment with a spacious outdoor patio and a  breathtaking view of coast is better than the description! We experienced wonderful service provided by Giovanni as we saw the best of Amalfi coast! He gave expert recommendations on restaurants and places to see! We enjoyed the locals in the quaint community of St. Agatha! We were walking distance to restaurants, bars, and a grocery store with a fantastic assortment of cheese,  meats & wine!  Giovanni was at our disposal to drive us wherever we needed to go. This was affordable & so much better than taking the bus and trains.  I reccomend this property to anyone who wants to experience the true taste and people of Italy.  Ps: I recommend you ignore the comments by the disgruntled gentleman who reviewed before our trip. If you read the discription, it shows exactly where the location is.  There's a reason he picks up at Conad, the grocery store, is because he never would have found the place.   Giovanni and Maria were lovely people and we felt 100% percent safe. We use VRBO many times a year. I have my degree in Hospitality & my husband was a Chef. Consider the source.

DO NOT STAY HERE. You will be highly disappointed with the location as it is not even remotely near where the location of the apartment is represented in the listing. You are not even close to Sorrento and you are in fact on the complete opposite side of the hill. I can’t understand the good reviews for this property. The owner does not provide the address, you have to meet him at Conad supermarket and you will have to follow him to the property. The entire encounter was creepy, weird and felt very strange and I have rented 100s of similar properties and other homes all over the world. In the end, my family and I decided not to stay there because of how insistent the owner was about following him to the property. We all did NOT feel safe and VRBO has done nothing to address anything about this listing. I even had Expedia customer service on the phone and they handled in a terrible manner. We honestly wanted to call the police and get them involved and yes it was that BAD. It was a very horrible traumatic experience and there are not enough words to describe the madness that ensued and what transpired. There are much better places without the drama.

Sorrento Stay

The property is very nice, but the location is not close to Sorrento or where it is listed on the VRBO posting. The VRBO is in Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi- a 20-minute cab or 25-minute bus ride. The cab is typically around 80 Euro one way, and there is a bus that runs hourly for 2 Euro. Again, it is a beautiful property with a great view, just be aware that it's not as close to the town of Sorrento as the description suggests.

Nothing to much trouble for Maria and Giovanni

From the moment you arrive you are cared for, from the thoughtfulness of this in the fridge to the offer to help you, the comfortable accommodation offered us 6 the perfect place to stay Thank you Maria and Giovanni you home was our home away from home, and so enjoyed our stay . If you are going to stay book a small car such as a Fiat 500 as they are small and can access the streets leading to the property. We found the bus service really easy to use from the top of the lane to Sorrento for 1.5 euros. 20 minutes they whisk you down the hill and continue till 11.29pm. Taxis are expensive, last night 70 euros for 15 minutes return trip Sorrento. But we give 12 out of 10 for the beautiful property set in an typical mountain village , it’s the only way to see true Italia , thank you Maria and Giovanni see you again we hope David Adriano, Dmitri, neill, Christine and Peter from New Zealand

The property was very clean and spacious. Giovanni and Maria were very accommodative and the recommendation they provided for dinner at the Tutt' Apost restaurant was excellent. He even offered to drive and pick us up to and from the ferry terminal for a small fee to save us on parking fees. If we needed anything he was very responsive as they live right above the apartment. He even had supplied us with some drinks in the refrigerator. I would have given this a 5 star overall if it wasn't for the narrow streets to get to and from the apartment. Unfortunately, it's like that wherever you go in Italy if you're not used to driving there. If you've never driven there I would not recommend it.

Affordable Home in Sorrento with Great Hosts

Would recommend this property to anyone, up to 6 adults or adults with kids would feel comfortable. Very clean with everything you need, right next to a grocery store, and close to bus stops. The host offered to drive us and pick us up wherever we wanted whenever we wanted. We could also take the bus anywhere for 2 euro. A few good restaurants are a walking distance away, the host will reserve for you. Giovanni and Maria are very kind and made our stay very enjoyable :)
