Nothing was the same as advertised nothing worked in one of my rooms and in the other i didn't have heat for 3days the microwave had molded in them the refrigerators didn't get cold when i arrived the sheets had blood on them in one of the rooms had a crack in the sink and also blue dye in the tub

On October 15, I checked into the Red Roof Inn in Somerset, KY and I was assigned to room 101. Upon entry into the room, it became evident the door was in a state of disrepair and would not latch properly. I then confirmed there was no strike plate installed into the door frame and the latch was held in place by the steel doorframe only. This resulted in a frightening amount of movement in the door with just a small push. I thought of going back to the desk to get a new room but I had no way of knowing if a new room would be any better. In order to feel any sort of security in this situation, I ultimately had to jam the ironing board between the desk and the door frame. When I told the front desk upon checkout, they confirmed they had 'a few' rooms without strike plates and that my room 'may be one of them'. At no time did I feel safe in that room and I find this entire situation to be absolutely unacceptable. I am sending an email to your corporate offices that will include pics and a video of this situation. Please understand that, due to this situation, I will never stay at a Red Room Inn ever again. Do better!
