Summary:
Oak Hill House sits atop a hill on a beautiful southern Kentucky farm just mins from Lake Cumberland. The scenic countryside surrounds the home providing privacy for you and your guests where you can enjoy endless entertainment options at the main house sleeps up to 25 people. Enjoy time with friends and family exploring the grounds which feature more options than you can imagine, such as a covered picnic area, a croquet course, a tennis court, a volleyball court, a pool, and a gazebo.
The Space:
***Please note: Our pool is open from now until Labor Day, 2024, and is not heated. Please reach out if you have additional questions!***
The foyer and front staircase will welcome you into our home. You'll find the living room and parlor on the main floor, as well as a well-equipped kitchen. The formal dining area is large enough to enjoy a meal together with your guests. The main floor has a master bedroom with a king size bed and two twins in an extended area of the very spacious large walk-in closet. There’s also another bedroom on the main floor with a queen size bed. Upstairs, there are four rooms each with a queen size bed. The basement has three bunkbeds in one room with a queen on the bottom and a twin on the top. There is one additional room that is not completely enclosed in the basement and it has a queen size bed.
The basement is ready for entertainment, featuring a kitchenette, pool table, pingpong table, foos ball table, and a large flat screen TV with cable and DVD.
Exiting the rear of the home you walk out to a large patio with a view of the property and access to the In-ground pool, with plenty of seating and wide open spaces to lay in the sun. There’s a conference room with tables and chairs for 50 as well as a smart TV for meetings. The grounds of Oak Hill House feature more entertainment options, such as a covered picnic area, a croquet course, a tennis court, a volleyball court, a pool, and a gazebo.
NOTE: we have weekly maintenance and cleaning performed on our pool. The pool services do not take long and will not disrupt your stay. We will need access to the yard/pool area if you stay with us on service day. Thanks for understanding!
Guest Access:
Guests will enter the property through the front gates and a code will be provided 24 hrs prior to check-in for access to the home. Guests will have full and private access to the home and pool.
The Neighborhood:
Our home is about 5 mins away from downtown Somerset, where you can explore all of the great things our city has to offer while enjoying local shops, restaurants and attractions.
Getting Around:
Driving is recommended.
Other Things to Note:
Please note that we do not allow pets in our home. PLEASE do not move the furniture in the home.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
