We just left the house after a six day family reunion with people coming in from various parts of the country. We had three generations and everyone LOVED the house. We were nervous about certain things from looking at it online but everyone agreed it was a great house. We were all comfortable.
Many reviews mention being uncomfortable with the AGA stove. Once we understood how to use it, we really enjoyed cooking in it and on it. The food we made was delicious. Food cooked more quickly and was more juicy - nothing ever got overdone, tough or dried-out. The kitchen is a dream kitchen, with so many special things as well as all the ordinary things a person could want.
In addition to having enough bedrooms and bathrooms, it was wonderful for our group to have an office space downstairs and a library upstairs. This home has such wonderful books! We enjoyed the bathrooms that had added-on "tushy" bidets on the toilets.
The location is fabulous. The owners are very generous and we were greeted with lovely flowers on the table, lots of snacks and some drinks in a little drink refrigerator. We were thrilled to be able to walk to the beach as well as to explore nature and the challenges of Annie's Canyon.Short drive to fabulousSeaside Market.
Molly, who manages the property is amazing and wonderful to work with. We didn't need much from her, but whenever we contacted her with a question or problem, she immediately attended to it. This is a place we'd be happy to stay at again.
