We had an amazing stay here for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen of any rental we've ever been in. There was nothing missing that we needed and we needed a lot for Thanksgiving. The host left a sweet welcome gift and introduced us to an amazing local boutique. Location was perfect, walking the beach, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Hot tub was a great perk for the cooler weather.

Property was beautiful, weather perfect. This house had everything we could have wanted in space and amenities plus the kitchen was well stocked. We liked seeing the owners pictures and reading their stories. Checking in was so easy and Bob is very accessible, helpful and friendly.The only thing we wished for was our own access to the beach. Sharing the walkway was okay but our decks were not as private as we would have liked with the arrangement.We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Great Family Getaway!

Stories By The Sea is a great property. Situated right in the beach, it is beautifully decorated and offers stunning views. The house is well appointed and EVERYTHING is labeled for your convenience. We had a wonderful time and hope to return next year.

Clean and beautiful!!

We enjoyed our stay here! The house I was really clean and organized. It has everything you need for the beach, chairs cooler bags, boogie boards,etc. Right on the ocean with such a beautiful view!! We will definitely be back!!

A Much-Needed Escape

We spent a wonderful week on North Topsail Beach and this house was just perfect for our stay! It was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything that we needed to host our family and friends. We would highly recommend this property!

Spring break trip

Group of friends headed to the beach for spring break. This house was lovely, clean, had great beach decorations, and lots of space. Being right on the beach provided amazing views of sunrises, dolphins, and pelicans flying by.

relax and unwind

We all enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. The canopy tent was a lifesaver for our long days on the beach, as were the beach chairs> the house had everything we could ask for except a pizza pan(lol)We had a great time collecting shells, walking on beach, soaking in hot tub and playing games. We survived the tropical storm that hit on our second day there. We ohioans dont see rain like that! the rest of the week was great weather and we even saw the dolphins a couple different times. Would certainly stay at this location again. A big thank you for the chocolates, they were delicious!

A wonderful week at Topsail Beach!

A perfect house right on the beach, and the property manager was very responsive. The views are wonderful, and the owners even gave us a gift certificate to a local chocolate shop! We truly enjoyed our week.

Our 509 family at sea!

Perfect weather, beautiful sunrise, super clean beach all 10 of us loved the house! It was so nice to have all 10 of us were able to sit together and enjoy our dinner at one table. As group we need less steps, after all we all are retired senior citizens, we did it. We will look for elevators for our future trips. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home . It was a week we all enjoyed so much, we had fun!

Awesome week at Stories by the Sea

This property is superbly stocked with everything you would want. Some of us flew, so beach chairs (not even rusted!) were a plus plus. Linens, beds, dishes, appliances were all appreciated. There was pickleball played, walks taken, many beach cocktails enjoyed, all from this great location.

Nice, but room for improvement

I’ve stayed at this duplex for 8+ years, but this is the first time on this side of the property. Property was very well decorated and property manager was amazing and very responsive! Everything and I mean everything had a label. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds we’ve every experienced at this property. They had bed covers that felt like sleeping on trash bags. This was the consensus for every person who stayed with us. When spending almost 6k for a week at the beach, I would like to have a comfortable night sleep. Was shocked to experience this due to how beautiful tidy the property was.

Fantastic in every way

Clean, carefully decorated, very well-appointed kitchen, and wonderful location right on the beach. What's not to love? What's more, the property manager was very friendly and responsive. It was a blessing to stay somewhere with such a great property manager and property owner.

Wonderful place to stay. We will come back.

The location and beach are amazing. The property fit our three families well. It was equipped with all the kitchen items you need, and each shelf is clearly labeled to show you where to put everything back. It has beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and buckets (which we used to find black shark teeth). Each floor even has a retractable baby gate, which we needed. The loft bedroom does not have a door, so someone will have to be willing to have that arrangement. The couch and loveseat and the dining table area are a bit small for the size group we had. The place is well-maintained and well-stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay amd we would love to come back.

Spring vacation

The house was beautifully decorated and listing was accurate in this description. Location and parking was great. We loved the beach being just steps away. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we’ve ever seen. We contacted management prior to our stay about being able to get in the house a little earlier since the property was not rented the week prior to our stay according to the calendar, but was turned down due to cleaning and maintenance. It was disappointing when we arrived because the house was not as clean as it should have been. Example: floors were very sandy and sand on the mattress protector.
