Loved the location. We could see the sea & buses were right outside. Supermarkets, a fish monger, bakery, 3 convenience stores, dining options & cafes, were all walkable. We felt very safe, & it was not as crowded as other parts of Tower Road. The apartment was spacious & bright, the kitchen well appointed, the beds comfortable, with good sheets, and quiet. The self-check-in meant we couldn’t identify areas of concern. Many of the things listed were already slightly worn & stained. We emailed photos. Both toilets leaked & may not been installed properly. Also issues with the A/C in the living room. Repairs were quick. When we arrived there were 13 chairs in the living/dining room, & 3 large rugs rolled up against one wall on the floor. We asked that the rugs be removed & we were asked to put them under a bed. They were too large. We got a few mosquito bites, until we realized that the windows should not be opened because the light-well was full of water and debris and mosquitoes must have been coming in from there. There are no screens on any of the windows. The window in the back bedroom leaks and there is usually a pool of water in the windowsill. There was a lot of moisture in the back bedroom and bathroom so towels wouldn’t dry very well, and we spotted some patches of mildew or mold on the bedroom wall. Would stay here again? The answer is yes. We know what the issues are, and they didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay.
