We are a group of women who have traveled together for 27 years. We have rented many homes during this time and this was one of the best!! The house was beautifully furnished, very clean and comfortable for our group of 10. The house is well maintained, inside and out. We enjoyed the yard, fire pot and patio. The communication's with Debbie was outstanding. She sent us detailed information before we arrived and responded immediately to any questions we had after we arrived. We highly recommend this beautiful home.

Fully equipped kitchen, enough sitting for our group of 13. There were only 6 Adirondack chairs by the fire pit with tables, but we brought more chairs. We have a fire every night, wood provided. Pet-friendly, fenced in yard. The 2 kitchens came in handy for all our food/beverage storage.

We had a wonderful say at this home for a family reunion with three families and our adult kids. The six bedrooms and 41/2 baths gave everyone plenty of space, and the layout made it very comfortable for a larger group. The kitchen and bathrooms were all in excellent condition, with high-quality appliances and a well-stocked kitchen that had all cookware we needed. The beds were very comfortable , and towels provided were great quality as well. The only thing we would have wished for is complimentary shampoo and conditioner, which would be especially convenient for quests flying in from out of state. Other than that, we would happily stay here again.

Mom is 90!

We were gathering from MN and FL with our families to celebrate our Mom’s birthday. Having a large residence with three living space floors worked out so well. Mom and two other siblings came for a few hours during the days. A nine month old baby meeting her great grandmother was priceless. We were able to grill out and the kitchen(s) had everything we needed. The bedrooms were large and en suite bathrooms as well. Everyone was very comfortable in the variety of living spaces. It was Memorial weekend and a bit rainy but not a total wash out. The house provided more than ample space for dining, playing games and we even snuck in a fire pit night. The location was ideal being just a little bit out of town and very convenient to restaurants and shops. My brother in law wondered in all the years coming to my parents on the east side of Syracuse why he was never taken to Skaneateles. Our kids managed to fit in some hiking, a trip to Seneca Falls (women’s rights) and we all visited the local winery. Everyone agreed the birthday get together was very special and would definitely return to the house again. Debbi was so great to work with. As we all had different flights, check in and check out was very convenient for us. Many thanks!

Amazing place for family gathering!!

We had a great time at this location everyone had their own space beautifully decorated house in the woods!!Great kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook and socialize with your family. Close to the town and hiking trails. We would surely stay at this location again. Also the hosts are great very communicative and kind.

Girls weekend!

Wonderful fun weekend! House was totally accommodating for 11 of us girls. Great fall weather and good times! The house is gorgeous, clean and has a very open floor plan to entertain. We loved it!! It was our third time staying here and probably not our last. We will be back:). Thx Deb

Perfect home for our group of ten!

Plenty of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms. Downstairs/walk-out set-up is very nice. (Note: A small set of dishes would have been nice to have downstairs.) Main kitchen had everything necessary for meals. Home was very clean. Location was pretty and secluded, yet very close to town.

Cousin Trip

We were 10 female cousins coming from Rochester & PA in our 60's and 70's and I can't say enough about this beautiful home. It lived up to all expectations from cleanliness, layout, decor, kitchen fully stocked &TV's in every room! Communication was great and they came right down when we had questions on programming the TV. I would not hesitate to recommend this property or return again

Fantastic New Years Eve at Evans Lodge

Evans Lodge is a beautiful well-appointed home in one of our favorite towns - Skaneateles! We are a group of couples who are long-time friends and this was one of our best New Years’ together. The Lodge was beautifully decorated and had more than everything we needed. All the bedrooms were spacious and wonderful and it was great having 4 1/2 bathrooms! The main floor living space was perfect for us all to hang out, cook, play games, watch football and be together. Plenty of room to spread out but still cozy. The lower level also had a great living space for playing cards and watching more football - there was even a large kitchenette with a second refrigerator, microwave etc. It was cold but still lots of fun having a fire in the firepit - nice fenced in backyard with plenty of Adirondack chair seating for us all. Evans Lodge was exactly what we hoped it would be and more! Many were commenting that it was the nicest rental home they had ever been to. We hope to come back for another celebration soon!

Perfect home for wedding group

This house is everything it says it is and more! Beautiful, spacious, and a great back yard for grilling, having a fire pit, and spending time together. Debbie was a great host, as our family and friends in our bridal party spent the weekend with us in this house. Skaneateles lake is just a few short minutes away. Would highly recommend this vacation home!

Comfort and convenience plus more!

Our family of 10 has been renting homes in Skaneateles for four years. Evan’s Lodge was the favorite. Well designed and well appointed modern home with a comfortable feel inside and out. And only a 5 minute drive to the lake for swimming at the public swimming dock entrance and nearby restaurants and shopping.

Multi Generational Family Getaway

We enjoyed all that the property and the region in and around Skaneateles had to offer. The property was immaculate, provided plenty of space to be together but also for each family member to be able to spend quiet time alone if so desired. The kitchen was more than fully stocked and we enjoyed cooking some meals together. Our time was filled with laughter, lots of games, visits to town and all the wonderful shops, golf, and day trips to Cooperstown and Seneca Falls. And, I can't forget the afternoon on the pontoon boat! It was a wonderful family trip with many wonderful memories!

Family Corvette Roadtrip

This was perfect location and a beautiful house!! Very comfortable and easy! The host was quick to respond and helpful about the area. Would highly recommend and hope to stay here again. 5 couples and 5 cars, plenty of room for all comfortably! The house was very well maintained, no expense spared on design or accommodations!

Evan’s Lodge review

We all truly enjoyed our stay. Just a couple of things that I want to mention. 1. The entrance off highway was not clearly marked as well as an entrance chained off. Perhaps something like a star, big E or something to indicate where to go to find house. 2. Stink bugs were a huge problem in an upstairs bedroom, one in the right. Easily 25-30 of them over the time we were there, several in the bed linens. 3. Shower in the main floor suite was very hard to turn on. I know you received a call in that. Maybe a small note in that room with details on how to turn on. 4. Perhaps a bagel slicer in the main kitchen. No one got cut but injuries from cutting bagels are #1 in offices. ( I was director of a 30 room American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Rochester. Open 24/7/365 providing free lodging to cancer patients and caregivers. I have heard and seen it all.) Those are our only comments other than we had a terrific time!

Beautiful house

Spent a week with family members, ages ranging from 2 to 83. The town is absolutely lovely, restaurants are great, rented a pontoon boat, went to the zoo, visited a winery.

Adult family getaway

Each year, the adults in our family get away for a week. This rental was perfect for 12 adults (and a dog) enjoying day trips out to the lake and wine country to return home for dinner, games and fire-pit evenings. Deb made everything easy by providing written instructions and phone numbers if we needed her. She was also helpful in planning ahead.

Huge house perfect for big group!

We were three couples with children in tow and this place was great! We were able to spread out and have space but also all gather to hang out. The kitchen was well equipped. Loved access to the grill and stocked fire pit. Bring bug spray! Having a washer and dryer was amazing. Two kitchens, two hangout areas, it was amazing. Super convenient to town. We rented a pontoon boat, went hiking to the waterfalls and hit the downtown swimming area. It was convenient to Syracuse airport (flew direct from Dallas, Tx) and our friends had an easy drive from Pennsylvania. All in all an amazing stay and would recommend.
