We wanted a small town location and authentic tuscan vibe. This casina was perfect. It was on a small "dirt road". Took a little getting used to to drive on it, but the peacefulness and solitude was what we were looking for. There were a couple of neighbors nearby. The house had all the things one would need for a few days to a couple of weeks. There were supermarkets near by in every direction. We drove all over Tuscany from this house. The owner reached out to us before our stay and was very nice. She didn't speak English, but google translate helped. Only two things we would note: i locked us the very first 10 minutes of getting in the house. The doors lock when you close them, so always have the keys with you. Second, the property is well lit, which we appreciated, until we went to bed. And they didn't shut off until 5:30am. It made it a little hard to sleep with the lights from outside being so bright. After pur first night we woke up at 4am, thinking it was 8am,but we adapted. We were there for 4 nights, and overall, i would highly recommend this lovely place if you want an authentic experience in a quiet little area. Montepulciano was about 30 minutes away. As well as a small charming town. The owner left us a bottle of wine and a pavkage of pasta and tomato sauce to make a meal! So sweet! It was perfect!
