Siesta Key, Florida is very proud of our sand. In fact, we have the “World’s Finest Whitest Sand”. You’ll find beautiful seashells on Siesta’s white sands, and you’ll find the finest beach-front vacation rentals and showcase homes on the Key, too. What else can you find on the sands of Siesta Key?

You are sure to see and hear our wild parrots and the friendly pelicans while you stroll the breathtaking 8-mile long barrier island that is Siesta Key. Siesta Village is famous for its wild parrots up in the swaying palm trees as well as many other shorebirds including terns, plovers, ibis, spoonbills, and storks. Bird watching is one of the favourite activities of residents and visitors alike. The many varieties of wading birds, like the beautiful snowy egret, and the great heron are just a few of the different types on our beaches and in our village. Keep an eye out for our 4 to 5 foot tall Florida Sand Hill Cranes with their bright red heads and distinctive calling sounds. You will often see two walking side by side since they mate for life. Our birds seem to live comfortably among the people of Siesta Key.

Perfect house for bachelorette

Stayed here for a bachelorette party and it was perfect! We rented both floors of the house for a total of 10 people. The house looked better than the pictures. It was very clean and spacious. It also had all the beach gear you’d need. The location couldn’t have been better as we were walking distance from the beach and all the restaurants/bars. The host was also very helpful and responsive, even on a holiday.

Perfect location

We had 4 families staying here and the house and location was perfect! There was plenty of space and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. The beach was just a couple of blocks away, there was plenty of beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and towels for our large group. We all stayed we would stay here again!

Grooving at Coconut Grove

The units were spotless and very well furnished We could walk to the beach or the shopping/dining area but did rent a golf cart for the grandkids We had a plumbing issue and owner was very quick to handle the issue The only reason I rated a 3 for online listing accuracy is we didn’t understand this is a two unit property. So if you are only renting one unit you will be sharing the pool. Also if your party rents both units I’d recommend putting the early to bed folks upstairs because the lower unit hears everything. Also want to add this place has all you need for the beach or pool: wagons floats cooler towels. Owner also has a really cool message board which contains everything one needs from rental info to recommended restaurants All in all a wonderful 5 star vacation!

This property was perfect for our group of 12. The location allowed everyone to do their own thing-go to the beach, shop, etc. All within walking distance. The interior looks just like the photos.

Fabulous property for family celebration of 50th wedding anniversary.

Plenty of space for our 8 people. We rented both units. Beds and bedding were high quality. One block off Main Street was very fun and convenient. Short walk to beach… good quality beach towels and wagons to haul. We rented a golf cart, so we didn’t need them. Front porches were so cool. Only snaffu we’re the smoke alarms beeping for battery change at 12:30 and 1:00 am. Owners response was quick and apologetic. Maintenance came to replace batteries, put two in backwards so we had same problem the second night. We fixed them ourselves. You will love this house….do not hesitate to book and enjoy.

Great setup, convenient location

Great house! It is convenient to both the beach and restaurants/bars/shopping. With one unit upstairs and one down it easily accommodates families and people with different lifestyles (you can have early morning risers in one unit and they wouldn’t disturb the late nighters for example). There was a sufficient amount of linens, beach/pool towels, beach chairs and rolling coolers. The pool was clean and a great spot after returning from the beautiful beach. The owner was a pleasure to speak with.
