Friends Vacation

The property was clean and very accommodating. It had everything we needed. Water was low so there a few more steps than we anticipated. House was beautiful lake is amazing! We had a wonderful week.

Amazing

This is by far my favorite vacay yet. We will definitely be back. I definitely over packed. Not knowing what exactly I would need. But there's plenty of kitchen stuff. Dishes. Cookware. There were plenty of towels and beach towels. The view is amazing. The house is amazing. I do need to add that there no jetted tub. It has been updateupgraded to a beautiful walk-in shower. I just loved this place so much. beautiful wal Silverware.

Perfect spot for a nice get away!

My family had a really nice time here. Our first time to the lake in many years. The walk down to the boat was easy and we really like this area of the lake. The house was very comfortable and well equipped for what we needed. Will definitely be back!

Peaceful Relaxing

This was the perfect get away for our family. Loved every moment spent in this beautiful, clean, peaceful Home. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Excellent views, loved the sunrise over the mountains the reflections shinning on the water with the different colors were calming. The pier was nice to fish off of, we all enjoyed fishing and took out some time grilling out on the balcony/patio. Very nice setup for outdoor enjoyment. Beds were comfortable, Plenty of privacy inside this home. Tons of family games if needed. Pool table was extra nice. Hot Tube was relaxing and private. Little ways to get into off the main road however worth it. Will be back. Thanks for sharing

Ma Cook property was great

The house was clean and great! No issues at all. The dock was just OK - boat fit fine but needs some work. You can't sit on the dock and enjoy the lake like at other locations. This is not a deal breaker for me. I would rent this house again for sure!

As far as the cabin, it is very nice. Family really enjoyed the pool table. I liked the great room.

Renting cabin was no problem. Very nice lady. I ask for Christmas 🎄 and got them. The dishwasher didn't work. It needed freshened up before we got there. Lovely view out over lake. I would stay again. The summer months would be better , I think for this cabin. Need to take all you need with you. The grocery stores are a distance.

Perfect family getaway

This house was super well equipped, it literally had everything we needed! The layout was excellent for families. We loved having two private downstairs rooms and the loft was surprisingly large and semi-private as well. We used the fireplace everyday and the hot tub was magical! Would definitely recommend to others!

Exactly what we were looking for!

The property was perfect for a long weekend with my siblings. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the property manager was quick and easy when I ran into a problem with the WiFi. You cannot beat the view. Between the comfy living room, pool table, hot tub, fire ring, and fishing, there was something for everyone! We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great property and location

The house was represented in pics very well. It was very clean and check in/out process is very easy. My only complaint is that it was a weekend with the guys and start of the college football season. The DISH network channel selection is very limited and WIFI didnt work. Otherwise great trip

We were very pleased with the house and dock... wish they would trim some backyard trees so it's a better view of the lake. It was easy to get down to the dock and it's our favorite side of Norris Lake!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ma Cook Cabin.

The cabin was very spacious, quiet, and remote - the perfect setting for a Norris Lake getaway. The cabin was well equipped and we really enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake from both decks and the "easy access" of the boat dock and hot tub. We didn't think the switch back road to the cabin was as terrible as expected from previous reviews. For some reason the wifi never worked during our stay and this was an issue as my daughter was in grad school and required access. The fire pit was a disappointment - we looked forward to, however, couldn't use it. It really wasn't a fire pit, it was a pile of sticks and wood at the bottom of the hill. The path to the dock was very steep and could be difficult for the elderly, or people with young children to navigate. I suggest larger to stones to help with footing. All in all, great stay, and Kathy was incredible to work with and very responsive. We would recommend Ma Cook!

The house and lake were truly amazing. We absolutely loved the place. The road up to the cabin was a disaster. The last two miles the road was only wide enough for one car and was dangerous. No guard rails and a terrible drop down several ravines with no berm to speak of on the side of the road.
