the worst experience i ever had during my travel/business stays, rude and impatient front desk.. don't even wanna spend extra to tell about the story, but it took me 3 hours to get my room super unfriendly to foreigner they are very unhelpful but trying to send the issue to guests instead of solving it...good luck

Good discreet hotel next to Hongqaio airport

First what was good: 1) It is in a very quiet residential area. In the morning you can hear birds. You would have no idea you are close to an airport. The view of the lake and houses around it is very nice. 2) The room is quite large and the bathroom is really well organized 3) Bedding is very good Then what could be improved: 1) Internet is not good, the great firewall of China probably has something to do with it 2) Staff English is a bit broken and in general you do not see a lot of people working for the hotel. Also I could barely see foreigners in the hotel 3) Breakfast is basic. Also even so we booked for 2 people on Expedia, we only got vouchers for one person 4) It is a bit isolated, inside a residential village so you need to use Didi to get a taxi (which is fine) 5) Climate control is one way only. In our case it was warm for the season so we had to let the window opened.

Good location near NECC

Good location if you are visiting a fair at the National Exhibition Center, the hotel provides free shuttle at scheduled times (though we were not able to use), but the taxi would also cost not more than 30Y. Good and very helpful staff. The center is about 15 to 20 min walk

Beautiful Shanghai hotel with Chinese accent decor

A beautiful quiet hotel with Chinese accent in the room decorations. We enjoyed the free back/shoulder massage machine that was provided in the room. Bathroom was so beautiful and spacious. The backyard pool and terrace were really nice.

Great Hotel - get address from Hotel before you go

Wonderful hotel, comfortable, clean - good breakfast. The address on Expedia takes you to one side of a gated complex. Taxis cannot enter the gate. We ended up having to walk about 1/2 mile to get to the hotel. Best to contact the hotel before you leave USA and ask for the hotel address for taxis AND get the address in Chinese characters - Taxi drivers do not read / speak English.

Great stay, but beware.

This place was beautiful, and worth the money. But I have two warnings: 1. It is in the middle of a neighborhood, which means there really isn't a good view unless you have a room in the back of the hotel. (There's a mini-lake and deck behind). 2. They don't speak good English. I speak a good bit of Chinese, so it was fine for me. But it would cause problems for other Westerners who don't speak any.

close to the new convention center and hongqiao airport but inside a residential area not close to any restaurants or shopping AT ALL the hotel is new and rooms are 4 star one small muslim restaurant a 10 minute walk from the back gate was very good! thats all there is
