This was a wonderful property to stay at. Away from the city just enough to be quiet and relaxing but close enough to see all that Seward has to offer. Even saw Moose on our walk. Loved the back deck. Very clean and had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Seward.

Wonderful place to stay!

An excellent place to stay, out in the woods and just north of Seward. We loved the firepit and chairs and spent each evening out back with a fire. Bedrooms are decorated with quilts and cabin decor and split w the master and master bath on one end of the house and the other two bedrooms and bath between them diagonnally across the house. Beds were excellent with good bedding. Extra blankets were provided in each room for each bed. The well equipped kitchen made cooking easyand fun and a large table can seat everyone. The living room was large and could sit seven easily. The pictures make the house look small but it is quite roomy and very comfortable!

Woodland Retreat Review

We stayed 4 nights at this home. It is a cute small house just north of Seward. A quick 10 minute drive gets you into town. We had 6 adults in our party and space was not an issue. We were there in June, so the only thing I wish they would have had were curtains on the windows, rather than just blinds.

Fun trip

Property is easy to get to, clean, and fit 4 adults and 3 children perfectly. Loved that there were some toys in the closet for the kids to play with and books to enjoy! Fire pit out back was perfect for roasting marshmallows.

Great spot

We had a great time in Alaska and this property was the perfect base camp for us. Would definitely stay there again. We actually walked around the block the morning of our last day there and came upon a grizzly so you are close to nature here for sure!

Family retreat

We had four adults and four kids with us. We were gone exploring most days but the location outside of Seward served as an excellent base. The house is quaint but could use a few updates to the beds and towels. The Kurig coffee maker had a good supply of cups but it would be better to list that it only has a Kurig and not a standard coffee pot, for which we brought ground coffee to use.

Perfect Little Alaskan Home

This property was perfect for us, my husband, adult daughter and myself. Nestled in a wooded lot in a quiet area. We heard a Bald Eagle call a couple of times off in the distance and woke up to Varied Thrush singing from the woods out back. Beautiful Stellar’s Jays made appearances several times throughout the day. The house had everything we needed.

Great Location

We only stayed for our 2 nights in Seward, but it was perfect. House was very convenient the activities in Seward. Perfect for our group of grandparents and 3 teens. House was clean and just as advertised. We would definitely stay here again.

1st trip to Seward

We had a great time in Seward, the cabin was exactly as represented clean, comfortable and priced right. Be sure to take the national park cruise in was wonderful. Being from Florida the whole experience has been amazing. On to Homer. Thanks Karl Johnson

Great Getaway!

This was by far the best place we have stayed in Alaska. It was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The extra blankets were especially enjoyed by out of state family members. The area around the house was quiet as well as a quick drive to fishing areas and downtown Seward. I will save this location for future rental. Nothing beats a comfortable home while being away from home.
