Bear Cave is one cottage in the Bear Necessities Cottages. These cottages are a group ranging in size and price. Five of the six cottages have kitchens and private baths. We have one dry cabin that has a shared bath house that also contains a coin laundry. We welcome children and pets and love to help with your planning! Located just minutes from town you are close enough to all the action without feeling like you are in the action. Hiking, fishing, boat tours and much more are minutes away. Owners live on site and are ready to welcome you to Seward!

First off, add stated no additional charges on advertised price, then after we booked we were charged a vrbo fee, then tax, and a cleaning fee for additional 200.00 Sent email questioning additional charges, never received a response. Unit was clean but couple issues I will mention, as in no where to hang clothes, no where to put suitcases except on floor. It did have a small table that two stools fit under, wife used it to put her suitcase on, no chairs so we brought in a table from the porch that had two chairs with it to use as a sitdown eating table. Need to bring extra blankets, diesel heater worked and kept it warm but signage about heater sounded like you should not mess with controls. Overall it was a place to shower and sleep.
