Absolutely gorgeous location and lovely home. Some miscommunication about how many beds/lofts were available. But we were able to pivot and make it work. Very quick communication from host. Thanks!

Graduation getaway
Location didn’t have a great view because of the tall overground back yard trees. Great view from above pool area. Pool table was not in good condition and ripped. Was offered to have it fixed during stay but declined because that would be a good three to four hours of someone fixing it. House could use a good cleaning in bathrooms. No toiletries in upstairs bathroom and only soap and shampoo in downstairs bathroom. No directions or information about pool or sauna etc. Had to contact owner to get information. Didn’t check in until almost 530/6 and still had to let people in to tighten down loft ladder and take measurements for renovation to do away with loft. Also hot tub cover was replaced after we got there since it was worn out. Another interruption. Internet kept turning off and on with the television. Left day early with family emergency. Fell down steps because uneven and not flat from second floor to first floor.

Bowling Tournament
My family and our bowling friends stayed in the cabin for the weekend while we were in town for a bowling tournament. Everything described about the cabin is completely accurate; it was beautiful. We had a great time, and our older teens and young adults especially enjoyed the pool table and foosball area. We did try to grill outside on the first night, but unfortunately, the smell attracted an uninvited dinner guest—a bear! So, we ended up cooking in the kitchen instead. We will definitely be back for a longer visit so we can spend more time enjoying local activities.

Beautiful cabin with views!
This cabin was perfect for a larger group of adults. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and patio views. The property was clean and stocked with necessities. The drive up to the cabin is completely paved, which is great considering it is quite steep at points and very curvy. Drive carefully! We greatly enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Snowy Vacation
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! We aren’t familiar with snowy weather so there are a few things I’ll mention for others not familiar as well. The steps were very slick with ice so we had to use salt to help make it safe to get in and out. We made sure to bring some on our trip with us. The road to the resort is also very long and windy and we were snowed in for a few days. Thankfully we had groceries and didn’t have plans other than to just relax! Be sure to plan ahead and bring necessities during winter weather. The hot tub was nice and the kids enjoyed all of the game tables and playing in the snow. The views were breathtaking! We had a few dishes we had to hand wash that were put away not clean and I wish there had been a vacuum. There were a lot of dead lady bugs around the corners but I know that happens at certain times of the year so we weren’t too bothered by it. The kids also found an empty beer can underneath the steps that was overlooked by housekeeping. Other than that we had no issues. Communications with owner were great! He always responded quickly and answered all questions.

Wonderful family experience!
We stayed in Rocky Top Retreat for 5 nights for Spring Break and we had a wonderful time with our children there. The kids loved the arcade and the view! The drive up to the cabin was a little further off Wears Valley Road than I anticipated, but after a couple of round trips I found how to best manage the steep inclines/declines without running the brakes down. We would love to return to this cabin again in the future! The grill listed in the description was convenient to use, but it is a charcoal grill and we had to get supplies to use it.

Great overall experience. No issues with booking, check-in or check-out. Instructions were very clear and amenities were all in line with description and pictures. Especially liked the overall property layout and spacious parking. Even though we were never really in the cabin but to settle down for the evenings, it served our needs well. The drive from Pigeon Forge took a bit to get comfortable with but worth it to be away from the main drag.
My only recommendation would be to do something about that extremely heavy hot tub cover. It appeared to be quite aged and perhaps water logged which took two adults to manage it.
