The Chateau is a beautiful hotel, with beautiful decor, situated right on the water along the boardwalk. There are plenty of restaurants nearby with varying menus and prices. The room was huge and very clean, and very quiet. All staff - reception and housekeeping - were kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there very much. We did have one issue with the lack of safety features in the bathtub. My 84-year old husband needed a safety bar to hold onto while taking his shower, but there was no bar or non-slip mat. It would have been very useful to have an information sheet with instructions on how to use the phone. We couldn’t even figure out how to call down to reception. It might be helpful to know that this hotel has an opt-in room cleaning system, you have to let the front desk know how often you want your room cleaned, e.g. everyday, every other day, etc. Overall we did enjoy our stay here and would definitely come stay at the Chateau again when we return to Sept-Isles.

The place is excellent especiallly when you have tried the competition locally. The rooms are super clean, well equipped and quiet. The hotel is close to delicious food outlets, the harbour and a micro brasserie. Well recommended

La rue de l’hôtel est fermée trou de plus de 7 pieds la ville change les conduits d’égout etc un vrai chantier avec le bruit et la poussière. L’hôtelier nous a assigné la chambre au dessus des travaux en disant qu’il n’avait rien d’autre.il a aussi confirmé que les travaux commençaient à 8h am alors qu’à 7h les ouvriers ont débuté avec le vacarme. Nous croyons de plus en plus que plusieurs hôteliers assignent les moins bonnes chambres aux clients de Hôtels.com pcq ils ont une commission à payer

Beautiful property and great location. Reception personnel were nice. Service was highly lacking for the cleaning of the rooms and the replenishing of coffee and toiletries as one might expect in a hotel that represents itself as a Chateau (one room visit during 9 day stay). Depositing of room garbage each day outside of room door in the hallway was not up to par for this type of hotel.
