Noisy but alright

Breakfast buffet - different menu everyday and they tasted good Room - mine was noisy at night like somebody was singing in my ears. I went downstairs and the receptionist said they were coming from the restaurants nearby

I came here to rest and recover from a medical procedure. The positives - The staff are absolutely lovely, and so accommodating and the buffet breakfast was great. The negatives - My room was relatively clean and comfortable, however I did not get one full night's sleep in the 6 nights we stayed. The road noise is very bad, as is the noise of people walking outside in the hallway at all hours... There seems to be no sound proofing at all. Our rooms overlooked the pool, and they had musicians playing besides the pool on Friday and Saturday night. There was no one listening to the musician on Friday and they still played until 11pm and the music excessively loud. I also used the gym and found it to be filthy - the floors don't look like they've been mopped in months. Suited the purpose at the time, but unfortunately won't stay again.

Property is nice and conveniently located. The staff is extremely friendly. I was a little bummed out when I checked out of the hotel that they charged me 50,000 IDR for special cleaning products for one of my hand towels. Some coffee spilled in my room and I used it to clean up. They said they needed to charge me for extra cleaning products to clean the towel. Seriously?

I want to leave a fair review of the hotel while also sharing my very real and terrible experience with their housekeeping/laundry service. First off, the hotel looks good and clean with very affordable room rates. Front office staff friendly and helpful. Everywhere around Seminyak is an easy Gojek/Grab ride away. Now to my absolutely horrifying experience. Several abnormalities observed with housekeeping. I only have space here to share one: Sent for laundry some clothes including 1 ladies' underwear. All were washed and returned except my panties. Someone stole it. I also realised afterwards several more panties missing from room wardrobe. Immediately notified hotel staff. Their response: 1)they reviewed cctv, no sign of staff stealing my undies 2) photo they took of the laundry showed only 4 items...undies excluded. 3) Their laundry staff denied taking my item. We watched snippets of cctv clips on their manager's phone. There were time-gaps (places with no cctv) and also missing time between when bag was placed on the laundry room table, and when another staff began to weigh, remove and photograph items. The cctv footage they showed CANNOT CONCLUSIVELY prove no perverted wrongdoing occured. The hotel needs to ensure guest safety & intimate privacy. But the managers did spend time/effort hearing my distress and recompensed in-kind with airport transfer/meal and drinks. Little comfort, but it showed hotel taking some ownership rather than full-on denial.
