Avoid Bosadi Homestay – Dishonest and Unreliable I booked Bosadi Homestay in Sri Lanka through Expedia and paid in advance for one night for my family (2 adults, 2 children). When we arrived after a very long journey, the owner refused to honour our confirmed reservation. He told us the booking was “not confirmed,” even though I had proof of my Expedia confirmation and payment. The owner then tried to offer us another package for more money, showing that he had given our room away despite my confirmed booking. This left my family stranded late at night with two children. We had no choice but to urgently find another hotel at double the cost and also pay extra taxi charges. This experience was extremely stressful and unacceptable. I strongly advise all travellers to avoid Bosadi Homestay. The property is dishonest, unreliable, and not safe for families or anyone relying on confirmed bookings.
