The host met me when I missed a turn and escorted me to the cabin. He explained everything, gave me a tour, and has a wonderful personality. The cabin is very private, clean, and so cozy. I loved it! The area was proper, too. The cabin was stocked with utensils, dishes, soap, and just about everything you need when you prepare meals. It was a great way to ring in the new year! Thanks!

This is the 2nd Thanksgiving we have stayed at the Cabin in the woods. It is very close to family but is also very private. The cabin is a perfect place to getaway, very clean and well equipped.

What a wonderful property. Perfect for getting away from it all during a very busy weekend competing in the Junior North American Field Hunter Championship. Location is minutes from the Horse Park and offers solitude, yet easy access for night checks. The cabin was immaculately clean and had every thing that you could need without being overcrowded in any way. We used an incredibly comfortable air mattress that is available for an extra bed for my son, main bed was comfortable, sheets & towels super. Communication with the owner was seamless and he was very helpful. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Beautiful place set back in the woods which brings peace and quiet after a busy day at the Horse Park! This is my first stay here but I plan to be back! Very clean and comfortable. Stocked with everything you could need! Henry is super responsive and available if you need anything at all. Absolutely loved it!

The perfect getaway

We stayed here while attending Carolina Horse Park. Don’t let the drive to the house make you second guess anything, because it’s a well worth it. This was the cleanest home we have booked and the owner made sure if we needed anything that he was available. You can’t hear any cars. You’re literally in the woods and it’s so peaceful after being surrounded by the business and chaos of the day. We will definitely be returning for future stays.

If you are looking for a secluded, quite cabin then this is the spot to go. It was just what my husband and I were looking for! Host is very friendly. The cabin was clean and well maintained. Definitely will be back for another weekend alone!

Another fabulous stay

We had an amazing stay at Henry's cabin. We were in town to visit our daughter, son in law, and granddaughter for the weekend. Henry's cabin was exactly what we were looking for- a peacuful, quiet, comfortable getaway. Henry was great to work with, and always quick tonrespond to any messages.

We stayed here for Christmas 2023. We loved it so much that we stayed again while visiting my son and his family. The minute we walked in it felt like home. Any time we have large get togethers at my sons house we prefer to stay at the cabin for peace and quite.

My son and I loved this little cabin. The owners were great and everything we needed was provided. The screened in porch was a perfect quiet spot to just relax. My grandson enjoyed playing in the huge yard. We will definitely be back.
