The people working here were very kind and helpful, had food both nights we stayed and both meals were big portions and very nice. Breakfast was again really good full English spot on and again big portions to keep you going for the walks ahead, guy even made me some overnight oats which where the best! Can't fault the place ☺️

Very friendly staff. The Red Admiral is a little outside the urban areas, so very quiet once the pub winds down. My wife was convinced that there was another (peaceful and tranquil) presence in the room, perhaps The Admiral.

From the moment we arrived to the moments we left, the staff was helpful friendly. The location is beautiful. The drinks are priced reasonably the food (breakfast) was wonderful. I booked a double bedded room with a trundle bed (for a child), but there was no such bed in the room allocated me. This was sorted out while we ordered dinner and we were moved to a different (better) room. Very friendly staff and great food evening and breakfast.

We booked this hotel for three people—two adults and one child. Upon arrival, the child’s bed was not prepared, and the next day, we were informed they had forgotten to set it up. The room was very dirty, and the bed linens were not changed during our stay. Not recommended.
