FANTASTIC for families wanting to kayak, paddleboard, canoe in nature. Seals, otters, bald eagles, osprey, great blue herons everywhere! Herd of deer in the yard morning and evening, eating apples from the garden, including one with LEUCISM (look this up!). DARK SKIES at night for stars. FRUIT trees in garden amazing! Great bathrooms, new washer/dryer, great family room and decks. CLEAN, QUIET and stylish. Loved this house. 20-30 min from town which was great for feeling truly in countryside. Small/limited general store across the water, though-we kayaked over to shop. Only downsides: oven didn't work but not addressed when we asked for a fix (notes from previous renter show same complaint had been made). MUSTY basement bedroom-should have dehumidifiers in basement. Mudflats at low tide but could still access water with a little work. Need to let folks know that beach is completely made up of razor sharp oyster shells with very rough walking (almost no sand). They supply water shoes, however! Very accommodating. Great short drive to Olympic National Park for amazing waterfall hikes. Easy access to charming towns as well (Poulsbo, etc. Anthony's restaurant in Bremerton was fantastic!)

Lovely setting… BUTHouse was not super clean, it has NOT been well maintained. No locks on any bathroom doors, one bathroom door didn’t even properly close. Oven did not work. The management company was horrible at communicating with me. On our last day, a service tech was sent out to assess the oven issue and he told us the owner and management company has known for over 2 months that the oven was broken. The house smells bad too. We did appreciate the view, the kayaks, plenty of dishes and towels (though many towels were super dingy and grey). One of the bedrooms has such a horrible mattress that we were glad we only needed two beds. I don’t think we’d rent here again and will absolutely avoid renting ANY place that is managed by Vacasa.

Had a great stay

It's an older home, some bathroom doors do not lock, we had an issue with the wifi but owner helped us get it figured out the next day. Was great for our weekend stay.Nice Place.

Beautiful relaxing house

Loved this house! It was extremely functional for our stay and had wonderful views. The beds were extremely comfortable. The house is on a very well taken care of property with a lot of green space. Enjoyed all the different decks you had for different views of the canal. The beach was nice to go and look for shells with the kids on. Very close drive to a wonderful little state park and short drive into Seabeck!

Family reunion

House needs a "good " overall cleaning. Kitchen appliances had a grime /greasy feeling and floors had not been swept from previous visit. Lots of dust and hair. Coffee maker was broken. Fortunately I live in the area and I went to my home and brought my machine. Also had to supply our own coffee.

Our stay was exactly what we needed. The house is absolutely lovely, the kitchen well stocked with everything you need, the view great, and overall just a very nice place to relax.

Beautiful home, wonderful stay

The house was clean and cozy with all amenities provided. The view was as described and we couldn’t tear ourselves awa it to go out for meals…we ate at the house. Our contact person, Hans, was very helpful as was his daughter Heather when we had questions about the tv. We all would recommend this highly.

Family Time

Our children and their partners joined us for a long weekend at this house. It has a nice view of the Hood Canal, 3 comfortable bedrooms, and an open family area. We also used the kayaks and saw harbor seals, and it is reasonably close to Silverdale and Poulsbo, with good dining options.

Morning paddle with the seals

We thoroughly enjoyed the property; there couldn’t be a more scenic spot. The windows provided stunning views, and the big yard and decks were very relaxing. The home felt like going to gramma’s summer place. There were many amenities like kitchen items and outdoor equipment for a sunrise paddle with the seals. We couldn’t get the WiFi to work, but that may have been a blessing in disguise.

Girls Weekend!

The home was beautifully decorated and the view of the water and surrounding area was amazing! The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you would need in a kitchen. Three long time friends had a wonderful time catching up while exploring the yard and beach. The bathrooms (all 3!) were clean and very nice. The bedrooms were nice even the one downstairs which I saw alot of reviews complaining about "musty smells" etc., but it was very slight and understandable as all the water toys are stored there, but the owners have done a good job dealing with that situation. We had one complaint and one suggestion. The complaint: the dishwasher supposedly did not work, from notes in the home's book, but when we opened the dishwasher to use it, it reeked! We handwashed all the dishes as we didn't want to open the dishwasher again. The Suggestion: Please put a note next to the door or a note in the book about how to lock the door when leaving. None of us use this system in our homes and had no idea how to get the lock to engage. We called the Vasca number but got disconnected, and finally figured it out, but it took us ladies about 20 minutes of trying different combinations of things before we finally got it. We really want to return and had a wonderful time! Thank you for sharing your home!

Weekend getaway

Property was very nice, but there were a few things that could have been better. The beds were very uncomfortable, the kitchen and front entry appeared not to of been swept, one of the bathrooms toilets wasn’t fully cleaned, and the Wi-Fi was poor and when we attempted to log in it said that it was “a security risk” so we didn’t use.

Cute but poorly maintained and managed

Had a wonderful time with family and friends at this quiet getaway, with excellent views of sunrise and lots of water fun. The house is well located and cute however very poorly maintained and managed. Basic needs like dishwasher soap, trash bags were missing. The kitchen surfaces and dishes were not very clean. The main bathroom had a broken door , rendering it unusable. The patio furniture was almost falling apart. We contacted the company many times and they were apologetic but did not take care of any of our issues. The overall experience could have been excellent had the managing company done a better job of maintaining this property.

Our favorite place to stay in Seabeck. Very comfortable, with one exception -- the couch in front of the TV is mostly sat out. Deer in the yard greeted us when we arrived.

Horrible, misleading and frankly a scam

We rented this place for 6 nights. The downstairs bedroom has carpet, brown shag. I don’t mind the color or style! However, the musky smell was horrendous. We called vacasa to let them know and I was promised a dehumidifier. Never once did any member try to call to deliver the machine. By the next day, sat, we had unknown people walking through the backyard where my kids played. The rental behind us, 8616 misery, said and showed us, they have access to the beach using the south side of the property. The south side of the property has a bathroom that has no drapes, the south side is where the private stairs are, where the burn pit is for family gatherings. This was a major upset! Monday we had new people renting the place behind us and they had a dog. We also had a dog that we flew to WA to vacation with us, with the understanding that the stair access was PRIVATE, I had no choice but to Leah’s my small 11pound dog while we were outside in the backyard playing with our kids. I called Vacasa several times without a reply or call back. I called VRBO and also they were unable to help me out. Never will I ever rent from either company again.
